This product didn’t seem to clean very well. I have some water spots on my tank and even with scrubbing hard, it didn’t seem to do much for it.

This stuff really does work. I had hard water stains on the glass of my terrestrial salamander’s enclosure and could not get it off. I was nervous about using any sort of household chemicals to do this. I was recommended this product at a reptile expo and it really does wonders. I did a full clean with it when I changed the substrate and rinsed out the whole enclosure, and I sprayed directly on the glass when I was doing the deep clean. When I see water spots on the enclosure and am not doing a deep clean, I spray a small amount onto a cloth and rub away the water spots on the glass. My salamander is doing fine and had no adverse effects after I used this product.

Amazing! I didn’t believe what I was told, bought it to see, and even my toddler hit his head off my bearded dragons glass doors thinking it was open haha, no streaks not smudges, just crystal clean glass on his tank! It’s pretty amazing! If you don’t already have this product then u need it!

So, yes, I do have to spray more, and I do have to work a bit harder to remove water spots with this product, but it works to leave the glass siding on our Exo Terra enclosure sparkly and clear.
I like that it is safer to use than traditional glass cleaner, so the extra work to get results is fine with me. I would rather my little friends be safer and healthier.
To use well I recommend using a disinfectant product first, and a towel – not a paper towel! – to get the tank clean, clean and to help remove water spots as best you can. Then follow up with this glass cleaner using microfiber towels and/or a nice microfiber eyeglass cleaning towel. You can get large ones for monitors and they work great for tank glass, too.
I thought about giving this 5 stars for being slightly more work to use than Windex would be and slightly more expensive to boot, but then I think of the pay off of the safer product and I felt 5 stars for a glass cleaner that works but is pet-friendly is realistic and fair.

Fantastic stuff! It works just as well as windex but safe for your critters, with virtually no smell. I sprayed it on a small spot on a washcloth outside of the tank and then wiped away 2 years worth of water stains within a minute or two (just a 10 gal tank with a leopard gecko). It’s exactly what I was looking for! Note: My mothers snake tank which has MANY years of water marks from daily mistings is taking quite a bit more force to even look cleaner at all. All in all this will clean your average dirty tank glass to a sparkly shine but don’t expect a miracle with heavy dirt, it requires a little muscle!

I recently brought a glass terrarium enclosure for an injured snail I decided to keep and attempt to rehabilitate, and I needed something to clean the glass with that wouldn’t be harmful to my snail, but would clean the glass without leaving streaks and smudges. I attempted buffing with just water, which didn’t work no matter how hard or long I scrubbed, and everything else I had around was full of chemicals and not safe to use. The glass looked absolutely horrific and would fog up so badly I could barely see in. So I began searching and came upon this brand, and decided to give it a try due to the price and praising reviews. I had HOPED that it would work, but I honestly figured it wouldn’t be great even if it did. Well, to my complete and utter surprise, it DOES work amazingly well and leaves the glass crystal clear and streak free. It also has almost zero smell, which I love, and feels safe cleaning the inside walls without having to remove my snail. However, to be on the safe side I do not spray it directly to the interior walls, and instead spray it onto a cleaning cloth and then apply. Finally, lightly buffing with a clean, dry microfiber cloth leaves the glass looking spotless and brand new! I truly could not be more pleased and would highly recommend!!

Works very nicely on both glass and on food bowls/accessories and it is great to find something that is non toxic so I don’t have to worry about keeping my lizard out of the cage for any amount of time. Doesn’t work as well on carpeting or soft materials.

Bought this for my Bearded enclosure. The glass shows all the kids fingerprints on the outside, and his tongue marks on the inside from being a typical weirdo Bearded. This was perfect, I made sure not to spray in the enclosure with him in it, just to make sure the vapor droplets wouldn’t affect him, but the cleaner worked amazing, and didn’t stink up the cage like chemicals!
