I love the construction and design of this cage. The aluminum frame is very sturdy and the glass door makes for great viewing. The lower clean-out access port makes cleaning easier especially when using the optional nano breeze tray. I also made a platform out of screen that supports the contents of the cage so all the droppings fall thru to the lower tray. I’m using it to raise monarch caterpillars and it’s a perfect size for this.

The aluminum nano breeze cage is the perfect size for small caterpillars to rear into butterflies. Assembly was easy and portability is great! Very sturdy and will protect against large predators eating the caterpillars. The only downside is the small instructions font size and pictures. I’m someone with exceptional vision and I could barely read it to understand.

I use this for my monarch butterflies and they seem to thrive pretty well, it’s small but it does the job and it’s super light weight! Super easy to clean as well.

The reviews with fewer than five stars are correct in their assessment. It’s not a high quality cage. The directions can be a bit difficult to read, but I tossed those aside and just assembled it myself with no difficulty. The average person can do it. The panels in my box were label correctly, but some may not be as they are just stickers that are put on during manufacturing, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put these together. The panels don’t line up perfectly when closing the door, which other have also noted, but it doesn’t otherwise affect the functionality of the cage. It works for my purpose of holding butterflies until they are ready for release. It’s easy to clean and convenient and portable.

We raise monarchs every summer. The netting drives me bonkers on the enclosures so I was thrilled to try this! Took me probably 30 min to put together- I think the directions could be better- but it’s a great cage!
We used this for cats getting ready to go into chrysalis. I had other cats in bigger enclosures. Please consider making a taller one for monarchs!

This is a decent little cage. It’s small…but perfect for housing monarch caterpillars. Unfortunately, one of the screens came out of the packaging with a small tear in it. The assembly was ridiculous and frustrating. Nothing lined up and the screws were incredibly difficult to get in. I repaired the tear and we’ll see how it holds up.
** edit** this cage has held up so well. It’s easy to clean and perfect for caterpillars. Love it.

The product has got a 5-cent tear on one side of the inclosure therefore not able to hold any insectsas intended, it would be great if we could get sent another one.

This was a little time consuming to put together, it was super easy though, I’m happy to have this cage I have cockroaches in my classroom and when they have babies it doesnt allow the babies to get out so its great for small insects as well!
