It hasn’t been cold enough to test the warmth quite yet, but this coat is quite thick and puffy!! The zipper is easy to start and pull – the snaps are a nice extra, but I doubt they will be used unless we go out in snow or something of an “all day outside event” The bright color and dark grey inside compliment nicely – its’ a great look. I like that the sleeves are somewhat cinched at the wrist, but there is no wrist cuff per say, I do wish the hood was removable, but that’s getting picky – it’s a great coat!

This coat fits and looks great. The long length provides coverage, even as kids run around and play, and there is room for a thick sweatshirt underneath. The outer layer is much thicker and more durable than I expected, so it should hold up on the playground and in the washing machine. I really wish this coat had a soft, warm lining instead of the cold slick material they used. However, despite this issue, it does keep my daughter very warm with the puffy middle layer, other than the cool feeling when she first puts it on. The zipper slides smoothly, and the little fabric cap at the top prevent it from digging into the neck. The pockets are nice and deep but could have been more functional with zippers. The coat was extremely wrinkly out of the package, but it is starting to smooth out. The overall quality is great, and it could have easily been 5 stars if it had a cozy fuzzy lining for optimal comfort.
