I actually love this heater. It does a wonderful job at osculating quietly and heating the entire room. When my gas heater broke, it kept up with keeping me warm in degrees of -11 Fahrenheit for over 4 days!! BUT given that I had to leave it running for so long one important thing became apparent. Some kind of chemical burns off of it. It does not have an odor per day, but every time the heater was on for a long time my heart beat would go faster, my eyes would sting and my sinuses would suddenly close, and I just generally felt unwell and somehow toxic. Outdoor walks would see these symptoms disappear. It took me a looong time to figure out it was this heater because I never had it on for a full 24 hours before. After eliminating every other possibility, I finally took a really good look at my little heater. Upon examination it has some kind of furry heat proof coating on the metal screen. Which Iโm sure has some kind of fire retardant in it otherwise it would ignite into flames. After lengthy periods of constant heat, this coating does offgas something undesirable. I am chemically sensitive, so unfortunately I have to go with the more expensive Costco one or whatever the brand is, but when you buy these heaters, consider getting ones that have all metal screens. Yes, itโs nice not to get burned, but itโs also nice to breathe clean indoor air. Unfortunately, I have missed my return window, so this will be kept for emergency back ups only, and probably only down in my basement where nobody lives in case, my gas heater acts up again, and I need to keep the basement reasonably warm.

Warms very quickly, decided for this after trying five high end space heaters (ceramic and oil based). This radiant heater allows to point to an accurate location to heat and also can be adjusted to point at an upwards angle to keep you warm when you are sitting down and heater is on the floor. Energy consumption is great since in the high heat position uses 900 watts, much less than the fancy and expensive heaters that use 1500 watts and heat way less than this radiant heater.

Works very well for smaller spaces and does spread nicely in a smaller room. Can’t complain and glad I made the purchase – I’d probably get 2 if you can.

I’m in Texas, Soooo Didn’t NEED For Long But At least I Have It For Next Year. I Literally Can’t Stand The Dry Heater From My Central Unit, so it Gets Shutdown in the Winter & This Kind of Heat & W/ The Timer & Oscillating… LOVE, LOVE

Great to warm up by, but it stopped working when it got really cold. Would be great in a living room or house for minimal use. I have to keep my work shed warm, but when it broke after heavy use, it disappointed me when there was not an easy fix.

It has taken me a long long time to appreciate this heater. It puts out a mild to strong orange light which may be disturbing to use in a bedroom but I am at peace with wearing a sleep mask to bed and sometimes I even need to as I typically sleep on 2 or even on 3 beds during the night, my sunbed being my secondary bed. My doctors and others think I am setting myself up for skin cancer but they are wrong although I have been told that I have too much vitamin D in me. I recommend this heater and it is lightweight which is a plus!

Nice little space heater. Uses less energy than our ceramic space heater, puts out more heat, and is faster to get to full temp (less than 2 seconds).
Oscillating feature is nice to get heat to a wider area.
Gives off a warm orange glow in the dark, so if you donโt want the added light you may want to go with a ceramic heater.
The only negative Iโve seen is that it will not turn on if tilted to certain angles. Completely vertical doesnโt seem to work. Not a big issue for us because we use it at a slight upward pointing angle, but if you get one and it isnโt working, try adjusting the tilt.
These parabolic heaters give off infrared heat, so you can still feel the heat even in windy conditions so we keep this one on our patio, and move the ceramic heater into the garage.

Keeps you warm where you are sitting. Perfect when theres a little chill but you don’t want to run your heat and heat up the whole room. The lower setting is usually enough. My husband and I both have one in front.of the area we sit in the living room.
