This is a wonderful electric kettle. I love that it shows how far along the process of heating is. I also love that the water comes out smoothly even at the highest setting. I thought awhile before ordering this because of the cost. I am very glad I bought it. It is worth it when you make lots of tea like I do.

It’s beautiful, it boils and heats the water, it keeps the water warm, makes melodic sounds and feels gorgeous to touch!
online consumer –
Great looking kettle. Great brand BUT how to over engineer a great product. SMEG did it. Now you have to press the more unlikely button not once but twice just to turn the kettle on! We drink a lot of tea. Buy the basic model not this new one. Basic one you flip flip the switch. New one not that button a different one now despite that button still being on this kettle. Disappointing experience for a returning buyer but still works well.

Gave this as a gift. Much appreciated and loved by the recipient both for looks and features.

I don’t care if it’s overpriced. Of course it’s overpriced for a kettle. I buy a lot of overpriced stuff, like Dyson, but if they are easy to use and make me happy, it’s fine.
This is not the case. The panel is so confusing and I hate it.
