I am trying to get everyone into the habit of taking off their shoes when they come in the house. But shoes were stacking up and that just looked unsightly. So I decided to go for this bin. It is well made and sturdy too. It matches my kitchen (yep most everyone comes in from the side garage door into the house via the kitchen). So the area looks a lot neater and shoes are easy to find. This is a great little bin and could be used for a lot more but for this it is an absolutely perfect product. I think it will last for quite a while and it is a very busy bin. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and I feel like I got my money’s worth with it. If I need something similar for another purpose this would go to the top of my list.

These are perfect bins for your closet or wherever. I purchased these to store my purchases up on the closet shelf. Some of my purses don’t stand up, they would keep falling over or on top of other stuff. Now they are easily contained in these bins, standing up and covered to keep them dust free. I tied a label to the bins so I know which purses are in which bins. I like medium to large handbags, so two fit in each of these. I purchased two and plan on buying two more! They are lightweight, but well made and not too flimsy. They are not meant to hold very heavy items, but they are great for most household items.

These baskets are great! I needed a place to keep my dog’s toys where he could still easily access them, and these did the trick! I got two of them and they fit perfectly on the bottom shelf of my TV stand. Norman has a lot of toys, and the two baskets are big enough to hold them all. They’re very stylish with the wood handles and also seem pretty durable. Luckily Norman doesn’t chew on them at all, but he does pull them out from the shelf with his teeth or paws and I still haven’t seen any damage as a result of that.

Update review… 7 years later 9/17/2020 update – We liked the first one so much that I had purchased 7 more of these shortly after my original review… I still have 6 out of the 8 and they are still AMAZING.
The 2 I no longer have is because they were being used for transporting heavy things for too long and their handles broke. I still get compliments on the ones I have left; they are used for family laundry hauling and toy storage.
Original review 9/23/2013 PRACTICALITY: – This product is way durable – I bought this as a laundry basket for my toddler; his clothes don’t need such a large hamper. – We bought it for him when he was 15 months old and he has been able to carry it around from day one (that speaks to the light weight-ness of this product).
APPEAL: – The coloring of this bin’s fabric is not solid… which I like because the subtle blend of colors allows it to mingle nicely with my son’s cherry wood furniture. – The inside is not as aesthetically pleasing as the outside so I’m glad I didn’t order it as a decorative piece.
OTHER: – I wish it had a larger twin somewhere so we could order one for our own laundry too!

I bought this bin because my 11 month old daughter discovered the fun of filling a box and emptying out the toys. The toy bin I had was wood and was getting splinters everywhere. Obviously that’s a bad thing with a child who puts everything in her mouth. So after some research, I bought this bin.
It is fantastic. It holds quite a lot of toys and is attractive. The metal framing is sturdy enough that my daughter can brace herself on it while she digs for the toys. I even put her in it and piled the toys on top of her, and she fit and had plenty of room (and she’s a big girl)!
My husband was shocked when he remarked on how nice it was and I told him that it was only $14. He said he thought it would be twice that much from how nice it looks. I highly recommend this bin!

I was looking for a bin that would function as a decorative shoe container for the entryway to my home and I saw this product and read from one of the reviews that it worked well for that purpose. Still, it was a bit of a gamble all the same. I looked at the measurements of the product (medium size) and thought it seemed kind of small for my needs, but I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy I did.
This was perfect. It fits cozily in the corner of my entry way. My kids no longer throw their shoes everywhere!!! It fits many more shoes than I expected from the measurements. The wood handles and fabric exterior give it a nice look, but the interior wire frame appear durable to withstand constant use.
****UPDATE**** It’s been almost a year since I bought this item and have been using this bin for shoes in that time. I was pleased with it; however, it’s durability has come into question. One of the wooden handles shattered and I barely ever move the bin. I must say I am disappointed and I reduced my 5 star rating to a 4 star rating for this reason.

This is made of thick wire wrapped in sturdy cloth, with wooden handles around the wire. I don’t think I’ll ever accidentally break the wire, but I did break one handle. The wire doesn’t run all the way through the handle, rather just poking about 1.5 inches into them on both sides of each handle. This means that the handles are all one solid piece of wood.
I broke it by putting my weight down on a handle, which was very much my own fault. Maybe if the wire ran through the whole handle it wouldn’t happen, but I’m not upset by my own mistake. They’re not fragile, and won’t break just from packing them full of towels. I carry a smaller laundry basket ontop of this one by these handles, and they never hinted at breaking.
