In my family we eat eggs all the time. This plastic carton is not only easy to use, it keeps my eggs secure from cracking. It fits perfectly in my refrigerator and so easy to open the lid. If I needed to put items on top of it, it’s easy to store other items on top to save storage space. Overall it works wonderfully.

We recently bought a new French Door, counter-depth, refrigerator. I was really surprised that it did not come with an egg tray (especially in light of the cost!) since every fridge we have ever purchased has come with one. It did come with a tray for holding wine bottles– totally useless for me as I don’t drink wine… but I am getting off track. When we gave the previous refrigerator away I sent the egg tray with it, so I was without a tray for eggs. I knew I would like to have one that held more than just a dozen so I could add eggs prior to having used all of the previous dozen and this one does that. I also knew I would like to have one that is clear so I didn’t have to remove it from the fridge to see how many eggs were left when making my grocery list, and this one does that too.
Most important of all though was that it had to fit on the shelf without hanging off since the counter depth model has shelves that are more shallow that a typical refrigerator by several inches. This one happens to be exactly the right length to fit on the shelf without a fraction of an inch to spare. Since it has three rows (every one I owned before had only two rows), it actually holds MORE eggs that others that were too long to place in the fridge without turning them sideways. Being clear, I can see what I am doing to reach in and retrieve one or two eggs. When I need more eggs, the molded-in hook on the front makes them easy for me to retrieve them from the top shelf by gripping it to slide the tray out with one hand and then placing the other underneath the tray to support it as I transfer to the countertop. Being a short person, anything that makes accessing the top shelf easier is something I always have to consider. The tray is also very sturdy, much easier to handle than the carton that eggs are sold in. I am very happy with my decision to buy this egg holder. So much so, that I am considering purchasing the 3×4 model InterDesign Refrigerator Storage Organizer for Kitchen, Covered Egg Holder – 12 Eggs, Short Clear to hold boiled eggs instead of using a pencil to make a B on the shell like I currently do.

Good quality and helps with storage issues.

I like the overall design and the flat top lid. Make sure you tell your spouse and kids that this DOES NOT go in any area of your dishwasher….unless you like to reorder a replacement. It will warp even on the top shelf of your dishwasher.

Bellissimo comodissimo e robusto. Ho un frigo grande e nn occupa molto spazio ma è comunque di grandi dimensioni. Consiglio

This is great for organizing your egg stash! I love the lid, and how there is a built in handle to pull the carton in and out of the fridge! My husband was skeptical at first, now he loves the ease of getting eggs out of the container. I love that now my eggs won’t get squashed at the bottom like a traditional egg crate. Super easy to clean and looks great! (Can hold 18 extra large eggs comfortably.)

Bigger than I thought, but that would be my fault for not paying attention to the different choices available on the same product page. It is set to default to the 21 egg capacity box, so that’s what I got. That’s fine. I still use it, but I wanted a slimmer option (which was pictured at some point) and that’s what I thought I was ordering. Just be aware and click the correct size option if you don’t want the big one it defaults to.
THE LID DOES NOT LOCK. I didn’t see any reviews that mentioned this, so I’m mentioning it. The lid simply lays on top, with 4 little corner lips that fit down inside the opening to hold it into place. If you tip it A LITTLE sideways while carrying it, the lid doesn’t fall off, but if one of your kids tries to handle it (it’s heavy when full), and they tip it too much, you’re losing some eggs for sure.
IT IS HEAVY — The EMPTY box is already heavier than the dozen carton eggs you’re used to handling. Imagine it full of eggs. Yeah. Something to consider. If you have smaller kids who like to help you cook – maybe you can have them take eggs out of it, leaving the box itself in the fridge. They may not be able to carry the whole box to wherever you are prepping your meal without some drama and possibly a clean up.
THE FIT: I have hens who just started laying a few months ago, so their eggs range from small to medium large right now. Most are Medium and fit in the box fairly well. The cups are larger than the eggs (even the Large ones) so they wobble a good bit but I haven’t had any break from that. The small eggs are a little trickier. The cups do not have gaps cut out of them for your fingers to grab the eggs at their middles, like a commercial carton, so you are grabbing the eggs near the tips. Not a big deal with the med/large eggs, but with the smaller eggs, this is harder. However, since the cups are larger than the eggs, I can get my fingers down a little further on the small eggs to lift them out easier. My fingers are pretty slender though. If yours aren’t, you’re going to have a harder time I think. My husband can’t pull the smaller eggs out at all, and has a harder time with the medium ones than I do. There looks to be plenty of room above the eggs for even Jumbo eggs to fit with the lid closed. That’s good if you’re storing jumbo eggs. If not, then, that space just increases the odds that your eggs are going to come out of the cups and break inside the box if it gets jarred too hard. When you’re used to a store carton that hugs the top of the eggs so they don’t move as much, this may take some getting used to. The lid is a good flat spot to store other things on top of in the fridge if you don’t mind moving those things out of the way every time you want your eggs. You could also just leave the lid off all together so you can access eggs without messing with the lid, while leaving the box in the fridge all the time.
Overall, it’s a nice sturdy box that seems like it won’t break easy at all, and I like it.
It’s a very smooth plastic, so it’s easy to wash.
It takes up more room than I anticipated in the fridge, but if you wanted a 21 egg capacity box in the first place, you’d expect that. I’ve made it work. I think, in the Summer, when all 7 hens are laying, I’ll probably be glad I accidentally got the bigger box.
I like being able to see through it to see how many eggs I have.
Also, my hen’s eggs are a pretty mix of blue, green, cream, pink and brown and I like being able to see that every time I open the fridge.
I do wish the lid latched shut, but since the eggs have so much room to fall out anyway, It may not be as helpful a feature as I imagine.
I just find myself being very careful with it, aware that it’s harder to grasp the eggs well when taking them out, and aware that if I jostle that box hard enough, some eggs are probably going to break. It’s not that big of a deal. I don’t often take the entire box out of the fridge.

Bought some at winners liked them so bought more. Easy to organize Costco package of eggs so it don’t take up half of fridge. Organizing crazy girlfriend loves it.

Love this storage bin. It’s very sturdy and keeps my eggs safe in the frig. The only downside is that the top doesn’t lock so one has to be careful when pulling it out of the frig. Otherwise, I highly recommend if you love your eggs like I do. Wish I’d gotten it sooner!
