This bed arrived on time and in perfect condition. We accidentally put a screw that was just slightly to big and damaged the frame a little bit. This happened because the screws where not labeled inside their containers. No big deal, it can be fixed with putty and paint. Only one of the head board rails was a little bent, but once put together you cannot see it. It is mostly hard wood and seems sturdy and durable. It was easy to put together. We did it between two people but one can do it easily. The bed slats are only 7 which creates big gaps in between that an adult can feel when laying down. Another easy fix but they should come with enough to not need to buy anything else.
We haven’t used the trundle yet, however we highly recommend having an area rug if you have wood floors. The little wheels will damage the floor if not protected.
Kid is happy, the bed looks nice and we hope it lasts a long time. It if does, this bed will be a great and affordable investment.

Received this bed and the wood split after one use, contacted Max and Lily right away and submitted for replacement parts. Have been waiting 80 days for replacement parts and have tried to contact the company many times. About 30 days ago finally got ahold of someone that said they would ship out a new trundle because the parts were difficult to get, STILL waiting for that trundle.
Their website is difficult to navigate, no one answers their #877 number. Beware of this company, difficult if something goes wrong.

This bed is solidly made and good quality. The instructions aren’t great, but I was able to put it together myself in under two hours with only two easily fixable mistakes (used the wrong screws for one part and had to redo, and almost put the footboard together with a piece upside down). The photos in the instructions are not great and the screws are not labeled and are all dumped together so if you’re not used to putting together furniture it might be a bit difficult at first. I used a drill for a few sections but I possibly could have gotten away with just the electric screwdriver. Overall it’s a great bed for the price. My only actual “issue” is that the support slats for the trundle do not screw in properly at the top and bottom. The middle slats are all fine, but the very top and bottom slat pilot holes are situated at a section of the side rail that has a gap so there’s nowhere for the screws to attach. I considered creating a pilot but the wood was splintering so I just left them unscrewed and will probably use adhesive instead. Since it’s only one slat on each end that isn’t secure it’s fine. I tried a thousand different ways to rotate, flip or shift the entire slat section to make it work but no go. Other than that it’s a great bed.

It came with a broken slat and dented metal rods

Perfect looking bed. The color is a great deep navy with matching hardware. Assembly was good. Instructions not super clear on a couple steps so we had to go back and redo. Bed is sturdy.
Trundle is on 4 wheels. Pulls out easily and fits nicely back under bed. You can put trundle on either side of the bed.

DISCLAIMER – I’ve only had the product for one night. I’ll update if opinion changes.
Ordered the full bed with twin trundle to transition grandson from toddler bed and I love it. Despite two issues with assembly instructions (explained below), it was incredibly easy to put together. I’m a woman in my 50s and did it by myself with the supplied hex wrenches and a power screwdriver.
Bed and trundle were boxed and shipped separately (trundle arrive a day before bed), and there were no scratches, cracks, breaks or any other type of damage. I like that the heads of the bolts in the sides of the headboard and footboard are painted white so they don’t show as much. It’s an attractive piece of furniture, and the white is a true, pure white.
TRUNDLE ASSEMBLY – this couldn’t have been technically easier. Four frame sections, wheels and slats. However, there is an error in the instructions. They specifically state that both end slats must be flush with the end of the frame and THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE if you want to attach those two boards to the frame. Placing them flush means the wood screw used to hold them in place doesn’t go into the frame, but instead enters a gap along the railing – so it holds on to nothing.
I assumed I’d done something wrong because they went out of their way to print an image showing the right/wrong way to place these two boards, but it wasn’t me. My initial thought was to contact the manufacturer, but I only had the trundle (no the bed), and those instructions gave no contact information, nor could I find anything on the website.
After LOTS of head-scratching, re-reading instructions, a few curse words and scrolling through reviews, I finally found another purchaser that mentioned the exact same thing. She said she contacted the manufacturer and was told that the instructions were wrong, would be corrected, and that it would not compromise the safety of the bed if you moved the slats inward some so that they could be attached. My resolution was to start with attaching the middle slat (unlike instructed), then pulling each subsequent board taught and work my way out to the ends. This ensured the slack was only in the two outer boards.
This issue added an extra 45 minutes to my labor because I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong, but the assembly was still easy for one person.
BED ASSEMBLY – again, super easy, just with a lot more parts. There was an error here too, but I didn’t spend as much time on it. The two brackets attached to the mattress frame that “hook” into the headboard and footboard can’t be positioned the same as the image in the instructions show. Regardless, as long as the hooks are facing down, it should be good, and this is what I went with. I assembled the bed in about an hour.
I haven’t purchased a mattress for the trundle yet, so I can’t speak as to the size needed. I like that it can be put on the left or right side of bed, and even on a mid-height carpet it rolls easily.
I’ve seen a lot of comments about the sturdiness of these beds. My grandson is young, so there won’t be a lot of weight put on it, but if it doesn’t hold up for whatever reason, I’ll come back and update review.
Overall, super please with the product and would recommend. Just be forewarned about the assembly instructions to save yourself some time!

The bed was easy enough to assemble. The materials and quality seem good overall. The trundle slides in and out easily.

So happy with this purchase. It’s such nice quality, was easy to put together, and is the perfect height for children! My daughter loves it!

We got this trundle bed for our 10 year old daughter. It arrived ahead of schedule and was packaged to protect every single piece. There was no odor that others have complained about and the finish coloring was consistent. The instructions were clear and assembly was straight forward. The only advice I can offer is to not use an electric screwdriver. I learned my lesson when I tried to use one on the wood slats that go under the mattress because my hands were tired. The screws made large holes in the frame and wouldn’t hold. It was a simple fix, repositioning the screws and using the manual screwdriver. It took less than 2 hours to assemble by myself. We would buy this product again.
