Why would you ship an American Hoover to the UK knowing its not compatible. Waste of time and now I’m expected to pay the return costs. Not Happy

This works really well could be a little bigger, but it does do good with it suctioning and the tools are nice. It is a basic vacuum and it works well. It doesnโt seem to be too heavy and itโs very easy to assemble so far the dealer bill is holding up. My house with my husband, it gets tested lol

I am sooo happy with this vacuum. I have owned and used most brands and this is my favorite for many reasons. I am kind of rough on my vacuums I have not had any belt problems, or clogging. It is easy to maneuver around and under furniture. Strong suction, works well on both carpet and bare floors. The handle and the canister detaches, making stairs furniture, ceilings, easier to clean. Honestly feels like I bought a more expensive one. Highly recommend

I gave this four stars because had many Dyson Vacuumโs the reason for buying them was because I was so tired of buying a new vacuum every year. I saw so many good reviews and thought I would give this a try. I have some pluses and minuses for this vacuum. The pluses are it is very lightweight and does have very good suction power. I was very impressed with the amount of dirt that it got out of my carpets and floor even after I vacuumed with my Dyson. Very impressive. On the negative side the cord is very short. So I just use an extension cord. I find MC in the canister a little more difficult than the Dyson and it doesnโt hold as much as it looks like it would. Also as your vacuuming the two attachments that come with it fall off as your vacuuming continuously. That is very irritating. Thereโs no point in having an attachment to hold your attachments if it doesnโt even hold onto them. But I would recommend it because it does work very well. But youโre just gonna have to grab your attachments and not bother hooking them onto the pathetic attachment holder. All in all, I think itโs a very good vacuum. I just hope it lasts. iโd also like to add that it really is great for the stairs.

So far, we love everything about this vacuum. I’m blown away by the power/suction it has. Not only does it pick up everything off of a rug, but also wood and linoleum floors (which is what we have mostly) but we use those vacuum-seal bags to store off-season clothes and linens and it sucks so much more air out sooo quickly! Our old vacuum was so lame compared to this one. But we have a big rug and a runner, and probably getting more rugs later. I like the fact that you can take the small canister off and use the extension wand to clean corners and up above on the ceiling (we have fairly high ceilings). It’s also very lightweight and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It fits in a cupboard we bought to store it, that is 16″x16″x 6′. We’ve only had it for a month, but our son and his girlfriend bought the vacuum and I went to look at it before we ordered it and they’ve had it for a few months and have no complaints about it. I’m really happy we spent a little extra to get this one. We haven’t used it a lot, so haven’t had to empty the canister yet, but my son showed me how to do it and it looks like a breeze. The other thing, is that it does pull easier than push and we’re vacuuming a .5″ pile carpet. Of course on the wood/linoleum floors, no problems. The one thing I was not happy about is that I tried to call the Customer Service number 15 min. before their posted closing time and they were closed and when I sent them an email it bounced. I’ve not yet pursued that, but I will. My son said they had no problems with them when they discovered they were missing one of the brushes and it was sent to them.. We also didn’t get the pet brush that was supposed to come with it, but we don’t have any pets, so not an issue for us. Overall, I’d say that this is a great product and with the short time we’ve had it, we like it.

It could not be used as it issued sparks and a smell of burning

This offers great suction for the pet hair, easy to maneuver, long electrical cord. I like the long, detachable handle to get edges and corners. Very easy to assemble. Not too heavy or bulky.

I have had 2 Dyson vacuums and am so tired of the roller brush getting clogged and not doing the job I expect it to do. One sweep over my carpet with the Shark Navigator and I am in LOVE! This Shark has more suction power than my Dysons have ever had. I am amazed at how much dirt was in my carpets. The Dyson couldn’t do what my Shark does. Needless to say, my carpets have never been so clean (except whent they were brand new). Goodbye, Dyson. Hello, Shark! 3 things I wish this shark had…a larger canister, an extending wand for reaching high ceilings, and a retractable cord. However, none of these will bring me back to Dyson. And I love the affordability of Shark. Keep up the great work, Shark!
I bought the pet brush and it works great on my stairs. Without this piece, it was awkward trying to vacuum the stairs.
One more negative on the Shark…it falls over when using the wand unless you hold it with one hands which is inconvenient when reaching high places or extending away from the vacuum. Again, not the end of the world.

This is the 2nd one of this model I’ve had. The 1st lasted 15 LONG years, through 3 homes, a German Shepherd and cats!!! The 1st one still works, but one wheel comes off and a couple of little pieces of plastic are broken. We keep it in the garage now for cleaning the cars. This new one is a much loved upgrade. The ability for it to swivel and the cannister lift-away are great options!!! Great for carpet, area rugs, hard floors and furniture!!! And the price can’t be beat!!!

I have had this for over a year & works great. Cleans hardwood floors & area carpets very well.

We love our new vacuum! It is light weight, easy to use, effective on getting up our white husky fluff. Love the bag less.

This vacuum has a lot of flaws, it is a wonder why I gave it 5 stars. I gave it 5 stars because it does an amazing job for what I bought it for ~ to vacuum! My previous vacuum was a Hoover Wind Tunnel. It served me well, but it lost all its suction power. It was a much more intuitive vacuum than the Shark, but I don’t think it ever had the suction the Shark has. I have a very furry cat, so I can attest to the fact that the Shark picks up cat hair great and I like the upholstery tool very much. This is a strong recommend if you can get past the draw backs. I think once I am more use to the Shark, I will find “work arounds.”
~ The cord is WAY too short. I live in a ranch and I had to move the cord 4 times. The Hoover could do 99% of my house without unplugging. Like the Hoover though, the placement was bad and it got twisted a lot when I removed the handle and I stepped on it often. I am use to that annoyance.
~ The attachments do not fit on the vacuum. I have to move them around with me as I go. There is one place for one attachment on the vacuum (the two other attachments have no storage) but it constantly got knocked off.
~ I had to empty the dust cup more than once while vacuuming. This could be because of better suction OR smaller capacity. When emptying, the gap inside the bin often got fur/hair trapped in it and I had to dig it out with my hand. This rarely happened with the Wind Tunnel (which also had a larger capacity). The dust bin also prevents me from vacuuming under my coffee table, so I have to completely move the table.
~ It is VERY top heavy. It fell over often and I even got hit on the head with it. I often get on my hands and knees while vacuuming to get to small spaces and hence, got hit on the head while using the hose.
~ The light for the brush roller being “on” is hard to see and once when I was in sunlight, I went crazy trying to see why the light was not on. It was on, you just could not see it.
~ I found the bare roller cleaning not awesome for my kitchen, so I left the roller on when I did that bare floor.
~ I have to take the handle off often to use the hose and I wonder how long it will maintain a tight fit.
~ I do NOT have stairs, so I cannot comment on the “lift away” feature.
