I upgraded from a small laptop to this desktop. It’s got all of the speed I need. My only complaint would be. I wish it had a built-in speaker.

Very easy to setup. Fast and no issues. Only thing to be aware of is there are limited options to upgrade (this was the only reason for 4 stars). However it is quite a nice configuration.

So, I guess this is not technically a ‘gaming’ computer…Not exactly sure what makes that determination, but I can tell you that I play World of Warcraft with the highest settings, and it reaches over 200 fps. I now have it turned down to limit the fps to 60, to sync with my monitor’s refresh rate as suggested, and it sticks at 60fps no matter what I’m doing in the game, and I have zero lag.
With that said, when I am gaming, the fan does make quite a bit of noise, and the computer gets hot, when I have the game set to the highest settings. Perhaps a ‘gaming’ computer would have a more robust fan or some other components to handle the requirements of a graphically intense game like World of Warcraft, I don’t know enough about these things to say. All I know is that I get great performance when gaming, and while the fan is pretty loud, I don’t notice the computer getting hot unless its at the highest settings and I’m doing something intense like a raid. When I turn the settings down, and limit the fps to 60, it stays at a decent temperature. The fan IS pretty noisy though, regardless of what I’m doing.

Let me preface this by saying I really get aggravated by listings that mix different types of products so that the reviews are totally misleading. I got the top of the line unit from this listing that has great specs, but adding this review to all the other lower end units in this listing is really unacceptable. I’m tempted to dock a couple of stars just for that.
You can see the impressive CrystalDiskMark ratings for the Kingston NVME SSD in these units https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-OM8PDP3512B-A01-512GB-PS5013-Custom/dp/B09NMFCQ49. It also uses Kingston memory. The unit has a WD Blue 1 TB spin drive that I didn’t really benchmark since I had to replace it with an 18 TB Seagate, (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08L5GQR5V), because while there is an extra SATA port on the motherboard, there’s no way to mount a second spin drive. Unfortunately the hole pattern for the 3.5″ drive only matches the WD bottom mount spacing and not the spacing for the Seagate, so I could only install two of the four screws and had to work around holding it properly without rattling the case.
The lack of expandability is really my only complaint about this unit. The specs are really impressive, with the overall Passmark rating being in the 92nd percentile. It’s about 2.5x the performance of the uber PC I’d put together using top of the line components for about four times the price about seven years ago. However, this is not designed to be expanded. It has room and motherboard connections for one 2.5″ drive, but that’s about it. Everything else, you’ll be replacing components. I can’t tell for sure who makes the GEFORCE GTX 1660 card that’s there without pulling it (can’t find a matching picture anywhere) but it sits in the one PCIe x16 slot and unfortunately it’s a two slot wide card that hides the extra PCI x1 slot that could have been used for at least some minor expansion. The two onboard M.2 slots are taken with the NVME drive and the Wi-Fi card. Upgrading to the max supported 32 GB of memory means throwing away the 16 GB it comes with.
The spin drive mounts on a neat removable panel just under the case cover. The blue cable you see in the pictures is the one I added to connect a 1 TB SSD into the 2.5″ bay. The unit has an ultra-thin form factor DVD drive but I needed Blu-ray. It was cheaper to just add an external than trying to replace the one that’s in it.
Beyond that, there is one big deficiency that WILL affect the average user. Where are the USB 3.0 ports?!! There’s only one on the back and one USB 3.0 A and one USB-C on the front. The rest are all USB 2.0? What the heck?!! I’m immediately having to add USB 3.0 hubs just to connect everything I’d typically use, including the external Blu-ray. Not very convenient.
So, overall this highest end unit in this listing is pretty impressive specs in a nice lightweight case. For the average user, this is probably more than enough and the lack of expandability won’t be an issue. However, given I was upgrading from a machine with better specs all around except for speed, the inability to expand it had me considering pulling the components into a larger case with a different motherboard. Frankly, from the feature list, this is really a laptop in a mini tower case.

was not packaged well. was a used refurbished unit. bought it with warranty 2 year assurian coverage. box was huge and the tower was loosely not securely packed with NO bubble wrap or anything. just rattling around inside. some interior parts were loose which means this was roughly handled. cut my losses and returned the same day for refund. very disappointed,

The old computer finally gave up. I still like to use a desk top when home. This one seemed to be a good setup for a home user. It is faster and some improvements from the old one. The video card is a good upgrade and plenty of RAM and hard drive space i will probably use.
Have enjoyed it so far and it was on sale. All good

We purchased two of these last year for our churches new A/V system. They work great and easily handles video encoding with the discreet graphics card. The machines are also very quiet (as opposed to the cheaper model with an integrated gpu, which was crazy loud and had to be returned). I recommend this computer but you can definitely find machines with more recent hardware (newer cpu and gpu) for less money now…

Acer Aspire TC-1760-UA93 Desktop | Intel Core i7-12700F 12-Core | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
I was hesitant when purchasing this PC. However, it has surpassed my expectations. I am a casual gamer and I’ve had my PC for about 4 months thus far. I am able to run Final Fantasy 14 , Rust , Sims 3 , and lighter games with no issue. I am also able to smoothly play a heavier & lighter game at the same time while multitasking, often having about 10+ tabs open when streaming a show. PC is not loud at all and I haven’t noticed it increase in temperature even when I’ve been running it for 10+hrs.
You are unable to customize the hardware on this PC, however, I don’t plan on doing so as the PC doesn’t need to be customized. A perfect PC for those who do not know much about building their own PC or specs but also would like to do more than checking your email or browsing the web.
