Imagine my happiness when this Sax finally arrived. I’m on fixed income so I had to scrap for several months to afford this. I just wanted to learn to play the sax. I saw most sax’s in the stores are very expensive yet here on Amazon there were many listed for much less. I studied reviews from many YouTube videos touting how bad or good the various sax’s were. I chose this one because in the YouTube videos it just sounded better and the reviewers always seem to applaud it’s quality over the others. Obviously it’s not a Pro or even intermediate player sax, but it would be good enough to learn on.
When the box arrived, I noticed that the shipping box it came in was completely pristine and undamaged.
This is actually rare from my experiences. After opening the shipping box I found the sax Case to be of high quality and also undamaged. opening the case I revealed a Beautiful Black and Gold sax. I was in heaven.
I examined the items in the case, everything seems to there, no problem. Then I picked up the main body of the sax and that is when the horror sank in. A couple of the key rod mechanisms literally fell off. After examining where they came from on the sax, I scratched my head wondering how they had come off when their mount screws provided less distance between the braces than removal would have allowed. I then noticed that the braces themselves were cocked and bent preventing the free play of several keys. Several of the key spring wires were no longer applied to the keys and were pointing out into free space. All of these items I could fix myself as I have experience working on similar instruments. Even though disheartening, it was not enough to write a review for me. After getting all the lower keys to work I finally noticed that the upper keys were not only landing at the wrong angle, they were off target by as much as 1/2 of an inch. This was bad. I looked for another set of braces being bent and noticed the braces to the upper mechanisms were badly bent. Then I saw it. 3 inches from the top of the main part of the sax was bent and there was a rather large crease in the main body of the sax at that location. Everything together points to this sax having been forcefully dropped or dropped from a high elevation onto it’s top. ( the top end of the main body ). This sax is unrepairable and unplayable. At best it is a wall decoration. Since the packaging and enclosed sax case were undamaged and showed no evidence of impact I can only conclude that this was done during assembly at the factory. I would seriously consider NOT buying this product. I now have the stark realization that will never get to learn the sax

Purchased this item for my son as a beginner instrument since he plays on his schools band. This is his first year playing an instrument and this purchase was spot on. Everything he needed was included. The other parents asked me where his came from because of its unique design unlike the ones that we were offered from the local music stores. I would purchase it again. So far so good and we have had it for almost 3 months. The sound is quality is amazing!
