The weight of the pots and pans is quite nice plus the quality of materials is satisfactory. I am quite pleased with attractiveness of the cookware

These pans are great, although sometimes I do wonder if they are worth the maintenance. I would probably give them 4.5 stars if I could.
Pros:
– They cook really well. They distribute heat very evenly and are great for browning meats and deglazing. They feel solid and are just nice to cook with. Definitely top of the line in this regard.
– American-made, if that is important to you.
Cons:
– Expensive. Costco has a set that looks just like these for a fraction of the price. I have no doubt that these will perform better when cooking, but I am not sure by how much.
– Hard to clean.
If you are a clean freak like me and think you’ll just be able to wash these with soap and water and be done, you’re in for a rude awakening. You need to use Barkeeper’s Friend, which is a stainless steel cleaner that comes in a powder form. I hit them with that stuff at least every other time I wash them, otherwise you’ll get discolorations, water marks, and stains over time. You also can’t let them air dry, because, again, you will get ugly water marks.
I do throw my pots/pans in the dishwasher regularly, and I think they have lost some of their shine, but I don’t really care. They still look great when I keep up with using the stainless steel cleaner. Some people have said they are not dishwasher safe. All-Clad says they are definitely dishwasher safe, but will lose their brilliance over time when washed in the dishwasher.
– Lids are not heavy enough. They aren’t flimsy, but they are very light. You can’t cook rice in these pots without weighing down the lid, which is pretty dumb. I don’t know why you would ever want such a light lid.
– The pans are pretty small. If you want to cook a meal for a bunch of people, you’re not going to be able to do it in these pans. It feels kind of crazy to spend $700 on this set, and then have to spend another $200 on a decent-sized frying pan. If you’re usually cooking for one or two people this won’t be an issue though.
Overall: I am happy with them, but they’re not perfect. I’d probably recommend just buying a set at Costco unless you make a lot of money or just really want to make the investment.

I had high hopes for this sautรฉ pan, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. After just four uses, the pan has warped significantly, rendering it unusable. I followed all the care instructions diligently, but still encountered this issue. I expected better quality, especially for the price. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this pan based on my experience.

These are the best pans I used. I have a gas stove, the main thing with stainless steel is is you have to pre-heat and do the water test. Cleaning is simple bar keepers friend and a scotch Brite pad to do the inside then dish soap rinse and dry. Does the flame cause mild discoloration on the exterior yes, however it is a pan not a decoration. These pans do not disappoint.

This All-Clad Cookware Set is an outstanding choice for anyone that loves to cook. This set is awesome, and offers exceptional durability due to its construction. They have a quick and even heat distribution, which significantly improves cooking performance for things like searing and browning.
Being able handle temperatures up to 600ยฐF, makes them suitable for use in the oven which Iโve done for Cinnamon rolls. The set is also relatively easy to clean, with most food residues coming off easily with a bit of soaking and scrubbing, and their dishwasher safe. I still use vinegar and baking soda after each use to shine them back up.
In addition to its practical benefits, the polished stainless steel finish adds a sleek, professional look to any kitchen. Although this set is a significant investment, the durability, performance, and aesthetic appeal make it well worth the price, ensuring it will be a valuable addition to the kitchen.

Yes they are very pricey but you love food and enjoy cooking, they would be the best investment!

At first i was happy with the quality. And for nearly all the included Pans and Pots i still am.
But after not even amonth the 10″ Skillet severly deformed. It started to wobble and one side of it would always me like 3mm away from the stove top.
I never heated it beond medium temp. And i did not use it in the Oven or shocked it with cold water.
I propably was just very unlucky. But that doesnt change the fact that i had to send it back broken.

When you first receive it, the pots came in a used package. It was an Amazon return & it was packaged fairly well, but there was some loose ends inside which is expected from a returned item.
Pros:
These are medium to high end cooking ware. It is not the D5, but the D3. The D3โs are lighter and are better for a gas stove. We are better because they do not hold as much heat therefore, you do not need that much energy in your shop to change temperatures.
They donโt hold as much heat as a D5 but for my application and my poor abilities of cooking it works well. I donโt usually cook, but I can boil water very well.
Keeping them clean seems to be tedious but with some water and soap and a cleaner, youโre OK
Con: Theyโre not the heavy duty D5. they are lighter and donโt feel sturdy in your hands. So if youโre doing saucing, it does not work as well.
Overall, I give these a five. The cost to product value is great.
So when my cooking friends come over my house, I have reasonable good pots and pans for them to make me a tasty dish

It goes without saying, but make sure that your pans are well-oiled before frying! After switching from mostly non-stick pans, I was initially surprised by the amount of oil I needed to ensure that nothing stuck. Heat is distributed very well by the pans, which will make food stick even quicker when the pan is not sufficiently oiled. The pans are quite heavy, which might take some adjustment for the amateur home cook. The handles are also only meant to be grabbed from the bottom (palm facing up), which is yet another adjustment that you will have to make. It’s a bit annoying and heavy at first, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it eventually. Often there are residues that stick to the pan even after washing, and in those cases you might want to buy the All-Clad cleaner and polish if you want a flawless shine. It’s also a bit annoying that the residues don’t wash off, because I don’t want to buy additional cleaner for an already expensive product.

Look good, feel well made and distribute the heat incredibly well.
