My unit came with everything you would need to install it. It also came with remote control. Now, I had to go to the user manual to learn all the controls which are pictograms. I had to do the same for the controls on the unit as well, but the instructions were easy to learn. If you are worried about noise, no need with this unit. It purrs quietly like a kitten. The temperature lowers to 61 degrees. All of my previous units only went as low as 68 degrees. It features cool, fan, economy mode, sleep mode, and a timer if you need to set up a cooling schedule. It even lets you know when to clean the filter. I’m am most pleased with my purchase. The price was right and Arkansas has some very hot summers. My dogs and I will be nice and cool.

Was easy to install, works great, cools my living room down. Love the filter light, easy not to forget. Quiet when runs. Only wish had power off button on the unit instead of unplugging it when it’s nice enough outside to open the windows.

Unit wasn’t damaged, or dropped, etc. Fan didn’t work right out of the box. I could hear the fan trying to turn on and the rest of the unit was getting power, just the fan wasn’t blowing any air at all.
So I took it back out the window and I opened up the case. Once I looked inside I found out the issue. It wasn’t that the fan was dead/broken. It was they used extremely cheap Styrofoam to encase the blower fan. Think of it like one of the those cheap Styrofoam coolers people buy to take to a beach except much thinner and less sturdy.
So basically the cheap Styrofoam broke during shipping and pieces of it were all over the inside including wedged in the blower making it so it couldn’t move at all.
I removed the broken pieces and tried to get it back together and tested again. Now the blower worked but it sounded like a lawnmower. Had to take it apart again to find the the styrofoam insulation that encased the blower was now rubbing on the blower as it was spinning. Had to open it back up agzin adjust it again and finally got it working.
I can guarantee with almost 100% certainty that the majority of this Units are going to arrive with a broken Styrofoam case inside the unit. It’s cheap as hell, it has no plastic to encase the Styrofoam (which is what good AC companies do so this doesn’t happen). Especially when your shipping a 80 pound plus AC unit because we all know how much UPS package handlers and drivers love extremely hard to deliver large and heavy packages and they just treat them with kid gloves.
So every single person here complaining about this thing sounds like a lawnmower. It’s because the Styrofoam broke on the inside and the blower is now smacking against it. I was going to return this, but Amazon talked me into keeping it by refunding me 100 and since I was able to fix it myself by opening it up and rigging the insulation case back up with super glue and heavy duty tape.
I wouldn’t recommend this unit to anyone. Your almost guaranteed to have the insulation case destroyed by the time it reaches your home via shipping.

I’m not going to sugar coat this review. There were quite a few obstacles in Amazon getting this product to me in a timely and efficient manner (even with Prime) with all of this Coronavirus nonsense and the sheer weight of this unit. However, once that headache was resolved and after 2 weeks of waiting, I was able to get this unit installed into my RV.
You might not be able to tell from the Online pictures but let me tell you – THIS UNIT IS A BIG BOY! It’s also pretty heavy so I highly suggest that you have two people install it and you take time to plan out the installation. I also had an electrician come in and install a separate 230v power line just for this unit.
Now on to review the unit’s overall performance. It’s just nothing short of fabulous! I live in the brutal Florida heat and humidity where by 11 AM it’s nearing 100ยฐ real feel. They call it the combined real feel because you really feel it. This AC unit has turned my RV into a comfortable living space. I read another review that stated the unit sounds like a lawnmower when it turns on. After a month of heat induced seizures and practically melting and dying in the Florida Summer heat waiting on Amazon to deliver this AC unit to me, it could sound like the NASA Space Shuttle lifting off and I wouldn’t care. In truth, however, I don’t find it loud or in the slightest bit disturbing. I set it at 70ยฐ using the “ECO” mode and my entire 40′ RV with 3 slideouts feels very comfortable. During the 111ยฐ Summer afternoons this unit is on more than it’s off but that is why I selected a high BTU AC unit. Florida heat is just no joke! Now let’s all just wait until I receive my next electric bill and hope the “ECO” mode is all it’s cracked up to be.
The only “complaint” that I have thus far is that I think the AC designers caught a slight case of product over-engineering when they designed the units remote control. For some reason, a micro eyeglass screwdriver is required to remove the smallest of rear screws so that the remote control battery casing can be removed to insert batteries. Now why this screw is needed when the other five TV and various perfectly functioning remotes around my RV don’t require it is a question best addressed by Yoda. It’s an unnecessary pain in the butt and a perfect example of product over-engineering. Someone had too much time on their hands.
However, beyond this issue the AC unit is working delightfully well at combating the brutal Summer heat. And as soon as I can get the back of the remote control open I will learn just how well the remote works.

I figured I better wait a while till I have had it long enough to write a review….this said I would highly recommend this air conditioner. I have had it for a year now. Used it all last summer and I covered it up for the 21-22 winter (I live in upstate NY) and have used it almost everyday this summer for it has been hot in May, June and all of July (it is the 31st of July today)
I have a pretty good size house and I put it in my dining room large window. I put a fan pointing toward the living room and a fan pointing toward the kitchen about 3 feet away from the AC and it does cool my whole downstairs. I have it set for 72 and with the fans (box style) set on the lowest setting, my thermostat in my house says 69 degrees. So It is really cooling & my thermostat is over 10 feet away from AC.
What more can I say ….It works great!

Works great, And actually looks attractive in the window. It is a little noisy, but not enough to disturb my sleep.
