This silverware replaces a mess of different cheap ones I should have replaced a few years ago. It’s as described here – has excellent weight and feel for handling/use and unlikely to bend unless pushed beyond reason …. Washes well in dishwasher. I bought two sets to get settings for 8 at a price far less than others of comparable quality and weight (18/10 – look it up) the dinner forks, knives and soup spoon are slightly longer and larger than some sets but they all fit in a regular kitchen drawer size flatware tray I have. And i really appreciate their sturdiness.

First of all, this cutlery is quite large (probably the largest cutlery I’ve ever seen), so if you have a small mouth, it probably isn’t going to be the best for you.
Quality-wise, it is quite hefty and is finished quite well in general. However, the first set I received had some finishing defects that left sharp edges on the tablespoons that would have sliced my mouth open. Returned those and the replacement set was great. Quality control appears iffy with these, so make sure you inspect each piece carefully before the return period expires.

These are great. For 17 bucks I expected flatware that felt like plastiware. That is not the case.
My kids manage to dump the remainder of their plates in the garbage. Somehow, it is just too much trouble to make sure there isn’t a knife or a fork still on the plate. Over the last couple of hears we have whittled down my 16 piece setting to about 4 pieces. This was especially irritating as this was a very expensive set.
Surprise! You can’t tell the difference on these. They feel just as weighty and sturdy in your hand. You can’t go wrong w/ these!

I purchased two sets of this silverware to replace the old mismatched set I’ve had – also to have a full set of everything. Before, we seemed to always use all of the little spoons, or forks before a load of clean dishes were put away… Having two of these sets for about a week now, and we haven’t run out of spoons or forks before we ran a load. They are heavy and thick! They feel very sturdy, like you could scoop out of the ice cream bucket without bending the spoon!

I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and strength of these silverware pieces. I bought the 20 piece set. I can’t understand the reviews that say they are cheap feeling and will not stand up to abuse. I tried as hard as I could to even bend one of these pieces and could not. They are very nice considering the price, about a dollar apiece. You could buy silverware at the dollar store for that price with not nearly the quality. I had my grandkids move in with me and have slowly been losing silverware. I decided to buy some replacement pieces but not spend too much money in case these went the way of the other ones. I am very pleased with my purchase and I liked the design. The only thing, which is why they got 4 stars instead of 5, is that they have Amazon Basic stamped on them. Does anybody really need to know that? However, if these start disappearing, and they probably will, I will not hesitate to purchase some more of these.
