Amazon Renewed Apple iPad Magic Keyboard

This keyboard beat my expectations. It arrived in retail packaging and appears to be brand new. It has no flaws of any kind and works perfectly with my iPad Pro. The savings from new was incredible. I’ve had multiple great experiences buying renewed products from Amazon and would highly recommend this one.

Was compatible with my brand new 12.9” M2 iPad Pro.
-charger works
-all keys work
-touchpad and click works
-backlight works
-no structural deformation
-opens and closes fine

Was very pleased to finally try out Amazon’s renewed program and save massively on this item that’s otherwise unjustifiably expensive for me. And this did not disappoint.

One thing I will say is that it definitely used. Apple’s silicone material on their cases, watch bands, etc, will end up forming these random “shine spots” after some time of use. These are present, and they’re not washable. But i would not consider them damage as there is no actual damage to the silicone at all. So it’s not a problem for me.

When it comes to Magic Keyboard in general, some things i ran into that i wasnt expecting:

-MKB + iPad is a surprisingly heavy unit. And feels fragile. So it’s more unwieldy than a MacBook Air or even one of the 13” MacBook Pros.

-When you go to open it like a laptop, it’s just…difficult. Keep in mind, the screen portion is much heavier than the keyboard, where that would be the opposite case on a regular laptop. So you may have to somehow open the keyboard down, if that makes sense. If you do try to open the screen up though, like a laptop, you have to put your fingers on the screen a little bit, which is try to avoid as much as necessary. And overall the force required to open it is just…weird. It’s extremely rigid and feels like I’m going to break it if I keep opening it. Obviously not the case though, and I’m probably just used to the extremely smooth experience of opening a MacBook.
These are not cons, but they will take some getting used to.

Overall i am extremely happy.

Estoy super feliz que me animé a pedirlo! Normalmente trabajo en casa y tengo mi imac pero A veces tengo que viajar por periodos largos y la verdad que me hacia falta una “laptop” o algo un poquito mas amigable para el trabajo de oficina 😅. Con esto tengo todo lo que necesito! Estoy muy feliz porque vale 100% la pena con este precio!
Llego en la caja original abierta sin las típicas protecciones de papel plástico y manuales, tampoco stickers y demás. Pero se ve que el producto es nuevo. Llegó en perfectas condiciones sin ningún detalle o golpe. Probé todas las teclas y el trackpad y funciona de maravilla, carga correctamente y todo parece funcionar bien! 👍🏼 Es el segundo item que compro de amazon renewed y la verdad hasta ahora han valido mucho la pena.
Dudaba si el teclado en inglés en vez de español pero igual no tengo problema con eso es cosa de adaptarse (para la ñ dejar presionada la n y aparece la opción). Muy contenta con el producto

I LOVE THIS MAGIC KEYBOARD! In contrast, I have owned 2 unsatisfactory Similar Products before i purchased this . They were extremely disappointing. For instance, they didn’t have the “through charging feature.” And the more recently purchased keyboard didn’t come with the charging cable. Though the seller promised to send it several times, they came up with a new excuse about why they hadn’t sent it yet, every time i contacted them about this.. . I had repeatedly complained that The magnets were too weak to hold my iPad Pro 6th generation onto the back securely. another detail i disliked, which i didnt complain about was that the track pads were weird. The action was UNUSUALLY stiff. I only mention this now, because i want to comment that in comparison, the trackpad action on this Magic Keyboard is excellent.
Having had the other folio keyboards, i can attest that they cannot compare to the Apple product. I contacted the manufacturer of the other folios REPEATEDLY, seeking support for the insecure magnetic placement and other issues . Although the service rep asked questions which seemed irrelevant, they never provided any advice and/ or any solution. Eventually, the folio broke when it released the ipad; which then hit the floor. It was the last straw My brand new iPad Air pro was nearly smashed , when it hit a hard floor because the inadequate magnet on that folio keyboard spontaneously released the iPad from the folio , which i had purchased to protect it.. the ipad smashed to the floor.
When the magnet gave way, I let go of the folio in a failed attempt to catch the released device before it hit the floor. The folio dropped and broke. The ipad landed face down, and doesn’t seem to have been damaged, though if i hadn’t attempted to catch it, it would have landed on a corner, cracking the screen. The folio lost keys, which could not be reattached. I returned this disappointing item nd ordered a Magic Keyboard at the “Open Box“ price. This is an NEW item, not refurbished. Though I had expected to receive the Magic Keyboard for an iPad Pro 12.9” 6th generation. Instead, i received one for 5th gen. It works perfectly. It is new. But not specifically for gen 6.
i also love the light weight, and the fact that this keyboard seems to hold my Apple Penci in place a bit better than the other folios i had previously. They didn’t keep it in place at all.

I highly recommend this Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad! . It is the best! It fits perfectly, everything works, the magnet, through charging feature and easy function make it convenient and comfortable to use, and no worries about the device falling off without warning. The one improvement I‘d wish for, is an attached sleeve to hold the pencil more securely for easy transport and access.
