I love the finished product and the tuffed velvet headboard is tall and very soft. The bed was lower than expected but I used 7 3/4 inch feet extendsionsI bought separately and it did the trick to rise the bed a bit higher. 12′ inch mattress will probably work best but I was able to fit a 14′ comfortably, but note, fitting in matresses can be a little difficult due to the wingback design.
The bed weighs a lot due to the tuffed end pieces, and assembling it was quite difficult for one person, I’d suggest two, the allen wrench that came with the set is quite cumbersome to use, Id prefer/suggest a ratchet wrench to do the job quicker and easier.
All in all, its a perfect size and shape with a comfortable design with no issues on build quality.

So easy to assemble and this bed is sturdy! We had a platform bed previously that moved and creaked like crazy just getting in and out of it. This is solid and sits flush to the wall even with baseboard molding because the headboard legs are flat. Agree with some other reviewers that the “scroll” style on the footboard is not very pronounced but it’s still beautiful. My niece said “it looks like a queen sleeps here!” I’m very picky and give this 5 stars. We’ll see how it holds up. I did spray the upholstery with Scotchguard since it’s a light color. Overall very happy with this purchase!

Extremely satisfied with this bed. It had been on my watch list for months and I finally bought it. The box arrived beat up by FedEx, and its like 180lbs. But, everything was good inside. Each piece was clearly marked, instructions were very clear. Bed went together perfectly. And once everything was together and I tightened it down it was solid. My wife loves it!

I love this freekin bed!!!! First off, everything came in one box not two and with pre filled aligned holes with bolts in place where all you had to do was unloosen the bolts, assemble and retighten and move on which came as a pleasant surprise since most of the reviews had an issue with missed aligned holes, so it’s been fixed! Easy to assemble, except for one of the wings but that wasn’t that bad either. It can take about an hour if you don’t take any breaks. Finally, it’s soft, sturdy, and very elegant of which I highly recommend and a purchase you won’t regret!!!

Love it!! It is the perfect color! Not too tan or brown or white. A very light classy cream color. Love the material. So soft. It looks more expensive than what it was! My husband was not fond of putting it together but I’m so happy with our choice!!

The size is perfect. I put it together by myself and it only took 3.4 hours. Everything came in one box with no missing pieces. Also, the bed arrived earlier than expected. I used the tools included and my ikea set which had tools with a longer handle. The box is super heavy so make sure you provide specific handeling and placement instructions. I’m a woman, 5’6 160 lbs and was able to push the box into my garage then take each piece out of the box and transport them separately upstairs to my room. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and you will be ok. Also make sure to build away from walls especially since the headboard side pieces have two screws that need to be attached from the back of the headboard. My only complaint was that the footboard scroll was not as pronounced as the pictures. But it is still a beautiful bed. I have a 14 inch king sized soges sleep mattress; from what you can see in the pictures you can get away with using a thinner width maybe 12 – 13 inches.p]

This bed is solid! I relied heavily on reviews to purchase my bed. My king-size bed arrived safely in one box. It weighted 160 lbs. I’m a pretty fit woman in her 40s and carried all the pieces upstairs separately by myself and assembled the bed by myself while my husband was at work. He only helped with moving around our 14″ thick mattress. Reviews matter because most of the main Amazon photos use thin pillows and thin mattresses. This bed does not disappoint. The bed makes no noise when sleeping or moving around. The material does not stink and is very soft. All parts were there, and all the holes aligned. I hope this helps the next buyer because I was so nervous buying so expensive and big on Amazon. I’m glad I took the chance!
