This magnetic phone charger is a must to have while on the road or anywhere really. The magnet is strong and the phone is fully useable when charger is in place. It’s low profile and light.

The product is amazing, I just wanted to point out some features for anyone who is inquiring about the item.
1. it will not charge your battery full, just because it is 5000mAh does not mean that it will output exactly 5000mAh. It outputs the stored 5000mAh at 7.5W but it isn’t a perfect transfer of energy. It will still charge my iPhone 13 pro max from 0% to about 80% but it will vary depending on use. The speed at which it charges is not particularly fast but having the luxury to just snap it to the back of your phone and forget it is amazing.
2. If will charge faster if you are using the passthrough function, I found using it as a stand on my desk with it plugged into my USB A to USB C cable it will charge faster than running on its own battery. So if you want it to charge a bit faster and you are using it as a stand on your desk plug it in! Note that it will only charge significantly faster if the battery pack has already reached 100% and the cable is not changing the battery pack and your phone at the same time.
3. The heat management is amazing, well it does get warm it is barely noticeable, of course, it is a wireless charger and a battery pack so the battery pack will heat up but I have not found it to be uncomfortable to the touch. Note if you are using it with the passthrough function the battery pack heats up by a marginal amount and it is not even noticeable. Its a battery, it’s going to heat up but when it does it is not a big deal, every battery pack I have had heats up with us.
Overall this charger is amazing and I would recommend anyone to buy it, it goes on sale frequently so keep a lookout and if you are hesitating to buy it don’t, it’s great.

UPDATE: Anker reached out to me and sent me a new charger. After spending some time with it, it was obvious that the previous charger was very much a lemon. My biggest issue was that it wouldn’t hold a charge when being stored. The new charger maintains its charge to where I’m comfortable about not worrying about it in an emergency. And I am able to fully charge my phone with it now. The magnetic hold is still just okay and it still gets a little too warm when charging the phone, imo, but I can deal with that. I appreciate the customer service that Anker provided.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: When it comes to charging my electronic devices, Anker is my go to brand. I’ve bought and used various products over the years with 100% satisfaction, but this one was less than stellar.
It looks nice, it’s not too heavy, the fold out kickstand is a great addition. Like other reviews mentioned, the magnet isn’t that strong and it gets hot when charging the phone. I have not been able to get a full phone charge out of it. And the charger doesn’t stay charged. After I use it, I charge it back up and put it away. When I pull it out, and I’m talking just a few days later, it’s dead. If my power goes out, I can’t count on the power pack to be working.
Maybe I have a defective pack. But because of its performance, I don’t recommend this product. As the title of my review says, it got 3 stars only because it’s an Anker and in general I have been happy with their products.

We recently purchased the Anker Power Bank, and it’s been our go to charger on vacations and trips being used extensively. The power bank’s performance is impressive, as it charges well and is extremely useful maintaining solid charge for many devices throughout the day. It’s compact, making it easy to carry around in pockets on trips, and the kickstand is a handy feature. However, it can occasionally get slightly warm with prolonged use especially outdoors but it is very mild and not overall noticeable. It’s a solid choice for those looking for a reliable portable charger with some great features including ease of transport, extended use over the day, and in need of the added benefit of magnetic grip. It’s a definitely purchase for us and our favorite charger in our ever growing need for quick charging devices.

Está batería me ha resultado muy útil por el hecho de la incorporación del MagSafe y que tenga una forma de ponerlo de pie y poderlo sostener como si tuviera un atril. Tiene buena aderencia y sus materiales muy bueno para el teléfono. Se calienta un poco al ponerlo cargar pero es normal. No carga el equipo al 100 pero si te saca de un apuro, no es tan estorboso al meterlo en la bolsa del pantalón pero si genera un poco de volumen. Es buen equipo y puedes usar su cable para poner a cargar equipos que no sean inalámbricos. Buen producto

My wife uses this as a kind of “nightstand alarm clock” for her iPhone. In that, it will charge her phone and allow her to easily check the time when she wakes up. It’s great for traveling, as it fits in a pocket, but it’s mostly used at home. There is an issue with charging from certain cables/chargers that we can’t quite understand, but otherwise, it really works great.

I have the version 1 and apple battery pack that used to cost $99. The apple pack is better, charges faster, recharges faster, and is smaller. It’s also twice as expensive. However, they don’t make it anymore so you don’t care. I use this to keep cables off my phone. It basically will charge my iPhone 14 max pro around 50%. That is hours of use. However, it takes hours to charge the battery, and the charge rate is pretty slow. These are the best made of all the non-apple batteries I have used. I would not go with more capacity to keep the weight down. Also, the stand is a very good design. It is very easy to recommend this battery. My years-old version 1 is still working. Most of the other batteries I have bought lasted a few months and broke. This is a no-brainer for the money and will make your old phone battery last like it was new or your new one go forever.

I love the Anker brand and when I saw this go on sale, I knew I needed it. The color is super cute, and it is easy to use and the charge is wonderful. it connects perfectly with a MagSafe case. it is compact and easy to store when it is not being used. I would buy this product again!
