I also have a Blue Point (Snap On) hoist support stand for comparison. The Blue Point has a heavier cross bar and slightly smoother threading & bearings, meaning that it’ll spin longer when you give the cross bars a twirl. Also the Blue Point has foam padding in the saddle area which protects the item you are lifting against. But the Blue Point is 2.5 times more expensive and certainly isn’t that much better. Buy the Arcan.
