For the price, I’d expected these to last at least 2 years… well, almost. The fitted sheet ripped after about 1 1/2 yrs of daily use. I’m not an animal, so I was gentle… delicate cycle, etc. Def soft… I’d have given them 5 stars if not for the (sort-of) short life span.

When it comes to linen… you really do need to pay attention to care instructions, it will be worth your investment. I adore these new sheets! Use a Natural laundry detergent if you don’t already. You don’t want all the perfumes and dies in those grocery store brands on your linen sheets. I washed them cool water and low tumble dry, removing while slightly damp. This is key when ironing. The after is pure bliss! They are beautiful high quality linen sheets. Absolutely worth the price tag. Also if you’re one to understand that everything and everyone is made up of energy, pure linen measures at 5,000 Hz. The same frequency of wool. Both very healing super fabrics, yet should never be mixed or worn together as they cancel each other out. So I recommend always showering before bed, with linen sheets especially (don’t apply any perfumes, lotions or oils before bed) and sleep nude. This will add to the longevity of your linen sheets and will be restorative sleep beyond what you expected.
I would purchase any baloo product again after my initial purchase of their linen sheet set and duvet. Very pleased customer!

Quality is ok, not great. Value for the price not great. Keeping them because I washed and used already otherwise would return. I have a standard king mattress and standard king pillows. All pieces of this set are way too big and this look even sloppier than linen needs to look. Do not recommend.

I bought these because I had a set of linen sheets I purchased 20 years ago that I had for near 20 years of almost constant use. Can’t even see brand on tag but they were obviously amazing. Think they were a wedding gift. They were queen size and now i have king bed I purchased brook lines- if you know what I mean. They lasted 6 months before tearing and company would not replace. Determined to still get my linen sheets that are made well bought these. I love the color which is whiter than expected- bought oatmeal cause 100 bucks cheaper- no brainer for me. I am a sheet snob. These appear better made than NY borough company but I will update after a year. So far I am impressed. Glad I don’t spend more for the dove gray- these are practically white which they look darker in images. These are white – hey if they sent me wrong color for less I’m ok with that. The picture I have is with a white napkin on top of sheets. They feel more like my old ones but know the rest of time will really be the difference. Linen is for me the best sheet ever but it’s a preference. Having used them for 2 weeks I live then. Clearly excellent quality. Impressive

several other sets from other brands that were more expensive – and these are more high quality and a great purchase for the price. There are a lot of linen sheets being sold on here and I haven’t found any worth the price until these. Other sets have felt cheap and itchy. This French set from Baloo is beautiful and soft right from the box – and get softer and better with each wash. Overall a great value and would make the perfect housewarming or holiday gift too. I also have a Baloo weighted blanket (highly recommend!) so I know it’s a real brand I can trust. Looking forward to ordering another set for our guest bedroom.

We are very hot sleepers in my family. We recently updated our bedding: new pillows, duvet, duvet cover, sheets. The works. We decided to splurge a bit and see what kind of difference a nice set of sheets would make to our overall sleep comfort level. We ordered a few different sets and were intrigued about trying some linen ones. The initial impression was that these have a really nice, substantial feel to them. After the first wash, they came out even softer. Nice!
However, what really sold us on these was after our first night of sleep. We really noticed a difference in breathability compared to our new cotton sheets. We love that these keep us nice and cool at night and are made with entirely natural fibers. Time will tell, but these also seem like they are going to last a lot longer too.
Really satisfied with the purchase and delighted to experience linen sheets. Definitely will be ordering another set soon.

I’ve had my dove grey linen sheets for a week now and I am very, very pleased with them. The quality of the sheets is impeccable. They are pricier than other sheets here on Amazon but you get what you pay for. These sheets are of higher quality and you will feel that as soon as you unpack them. They have a rougher natural texture when you receive them but they’ve softened up a great deal after sleeping in them. The fabric is very breathable and they’ve kept me nice and cool during these hot nights. I can already tell that these sheets will last me for years to come unlike other linen sheets I’ve purchased that only last a few months. Everything I’ve purchased from Baloo has been exceptional.

The king sheets have fit in both a thin mattress and a thick mattress we have had. We line the cool, natural feeling. I bought the gray, but would choose white in the future for another set as I just am not that into gray tones anymore. Gray is a nice neutral for the bedding though.
