Armando Sapon –
I havent set up the intruder sensor or the vibrating sensor. I only have set up the basic lock and unlock with horn and lights. I chose this over the viper alarm because it has the diagram for setting up with negative trigger since thats how my camry operates. So far its been good i like it. Ill update as i go

Good alarm. Takes a couple hours to install. If you’re not experienced in wiring car radios and such I’d suggest watch some videos first then find a wire diagram of your car. I looked up 98 mustang alarm wires ( my car ) and found where the wires needed and what colors they were. I’ve installed a lot of electrical stuff in cars. First alarm and the only problem I had was I had to swap a positive and negative for my door locks cause they were backwards Making the alarm armed when it was unlocked which was incorrect on the info I found not sellers. Easy fix and it works great. Didn’t get trunk release to work but I haven’t fiddled with it yet cause it not extremely important to me

The products features are excellent! That being said, it was a complicated and difficult installation, instructions were very generalized, and took a substantial amount of time to figure out the various applications to my vehicle. Another critique I have is the “auto rearm “ feature. This needs to be upgraded to be able to delete this function or at the least increase the delay time for auto-rearm.

The alarm for its price is just super. Those who write about thin wires, I can answer – on all alarms, the wires are standard. I have installed a lot of alarms in my life, and I can say that the alarm is normal for its price. Yes, I had to tinker. But having a multimeter and tools on hand is not difficult. The only thing is that to connect the trunk actuator, I had to buy a relay. But in general, everything is great.
Sure ain’t what I thought it was. Not by any means –
Works perfectly in my old truck

I still haven’t get the time to have this alarm installed but I must compliment the packaging and all the details accessories

This alarm seems simple enough to install, but it gets complicated. They do say to have a professional install it, but after 40 years of automotive radio and alarm installation experience, it’s still complicated. The alarm is NOT loud at all. And the main problem is the false alarms that constantly go off which drains a battery quickly. I shouldn’t need to carry around a battery booster pack for a backup.

Fast shipping A++++++
Derrick Marlow –
Everything arrived as advertised. Key fobs felt like good quality. Everything worked well out of the box. Installation as tricky. The wiring diagram was vague. Took some testing with a test light to confirm some of the circuit functionally before connecting.
A few notes to help others:
– The “door trigger” is the feedback from the doors closed. If the feedback is providing 12V+, wire that to the BLUE wire.
– I have seen that YELLOW is commonly used for the accessory power on other alarms. In this alarm, you will wire accessory power to the WHITE wire.
– Both of the BROWN wires provide 12V+, wire one or both of these to your lamps. The diagram makes it look like a closed loop between both brown wires, that is not the case.
– The lock and unlock outputs are dry contacts in the module that either switch power or ground. The important thing to realize here is that you need to supply the switched power or the ground. The alarm does not use the module supplied power or ground. There are a couple of legitimate wiring diagrams clarifying the wiring to the lock/unlock actuators, but the main wiring diagram is very vague.
