All necessary hardware is included. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg).

I absolutely love my new wall bed. It has made my office/guest room appear three times its former size. Its clean modern lines fit in perfectly with my décor but it comes in other finishes to meet other peoples’ taste. It is sturdy and well made. I had mine installed since I’m not the DIY type.
I would recommend this for anyone who wants to save space but not lose the flexibility of an extra queen bed. I also love the extra storage it provides!

Horrible experience! The boxes were delivered damaged and scratched all over. The worst part was during the assembly period when I realized that multiple items have factory defect and I can’t put the bed together. Called up the company and requested replacement and now have to wait God knows how long! The quality of the bed is so not worth the money! Try to shop for something else! I wasted $2500! Very disappinted in this company and the quality of this furniture! :(((

This is an amazingly sturdy piece of furniture. Please note the boxes it arrives in are really heavy and the individual wood components require muscular investment to lift. You may sweat a little!
If this is your first time assembling prefab furniture this may not be the best project to tackle. If you have assembled kit furniture before, you will wish every other bookcase, dresser, or entertainment center you put together was made by this company. The instructions were quite clear and my 73 year old mother and I were able to assemble it in a weekend. We did have to ask my husband to help us stand the assembled components against the wall. I did mention it was heavy right?
The bed pulls down and lifts up smoothly and easily. Beautiful design! Happy guests! Highly recommended!

I was hesitant at first because I read a lot of bad reviews on Bestar Murphy beds. I am so happy I took the chance: the product is very good quality and looks beautiful.
It came in 10 boxes on a palette and they delivered curb side. From the seller, to the lady who called me to book my delivery time and the delivery man, everyone was super nice and helpful.
I am a 46 year old woman, pretty handy, I put this together myself in 8 hours, taking my time. First I built the side units, 2 hours each and the bed 4 hours. I ordered a mattress from Amazon, 10 inch and make sure the mattress you buy is over 70 pounds for the piston to have enough weigh resistance.
The instructions were good and easy to follow, for some of the steps I watched videos on Youtube from Bestar to get a closer look.
The unit is gorgeous, sturdy and it fits right in my space. I am very happy with my purchase and the final result.

Overall good product at a great price compared to what you find at a brick and mortar store. Not bad to assemble if you’re somewhat handy. With two people we put it together in a couple days, but have a little experience in handy work. Finished product has a good look and is sturdy. Provides a lot of storage space as well.

First of all let me say this thing weighs a ton. It’s hard to move. Second, the instructions are god awful. We got 3 sets of instructions and none of them were English. I contacted the company. The rep was extremely helpful. I’ll give them that. Canadians really are the nicest people ever. However, the instructions he sent me we’re still terrible. There were pieces missing and pieces that were labeled wrong. The most helpful thing that was sent to me was a video tutorial. The video still didn’t match what I was doing section by section but it was still helpful.
Overall, it looks nice. It’s sturdy. But for the money spent you would think the company could give you spot on directions and all the appropriate parts. I feel like I had to use general handy man knowledge to wing it putting things together. Just the bed section alone has taken me and another person 8 hours. Still haven’t done the side sections.
Also of note, while putting up the frame the shock absorbing strut is extremely powerful. It does not get better until the weight of the doors and the mattress are on. So be careful until you get to that point.
I’ll check back in 3 months to share how it’s holding up.

Has some defects, but not worth trying to repack and ship back to Canada. Looks good overall and will be great for smaller sized guests. Will serve it’s purpose in our smallest guest room. Shelving on both sides will be great in this little room, in lieu of nightstands, and small shelf above the he’s of the bed will be good for cell phones, water bottles, or other nighttime necessities. Very heavy and seems sturdy for the most part, but I wouldn’t trust the bed frame for any obese guests. Will work for most, though. The biggest disappointment was the fact that there were some defects in the “wood” right out of the box, and the drawers don’t line up perfectly. For over $2000, I expected better. One bonus we didn’t expect was the clothing rods. The closet in this guest room is being used for storage, so that works out great for us. Glad we bought it, but I’d be happier if I’d either paid less or didn’t have defects.

The directions are complex and the bed must be mounted to floor and wall, be prepared. The bed can only fit a 10” mattress. It is a 2 man job for sure! Other than that! Great! The set is lovely and is just as pictured! A great addition to our guest bedroom/office/gym!
