Just like many other autistic people, I find teeth brushing really difficult for a multitude of reasons.
I have found that using this three sided tooth brush makes it so much easier because I don’t have to manually brush on each side of my teeth!

The negative sensory aspect of it is still there, but it helps as you reduce the amount of time you have to brush in total, by brushing all sides at the same time.

The tongue scraper at the back is a nice touch!

Strongly recommend for my fellow autistic adults.

I literally did not brush my teeth for half a year because of sensory problems. I know it’s nasty, I’m so aware, it’s a wonder I haven’t had cavities or worse – yes I go to the dentist. Well I thought there’s got to be something for autistic people like me. I found these. I still forget to brush, I’m trying to get into the habit, but I think “few times a week” is way better than “never” so it’s a work in progress. Well I just want to say these are comfy and easy to use and don’t make me disgusted, and since there’s the 3 angles it hits from it gets the job done faster so less time suffering. I did think the bristles were a bit hard but other than that I really like the design of these!

I have 2 kids with ADHD one of them possibly austic (waiting on diagnosis). I can partially the bristles are a bit stiffer than what most people are used to from regular brushes but they are gentle . The design allows the kids to get brushing over with quicker which is a plus. My oldest also compared it to a dental clean with how sqreaky clean their teeth felt .

These toothbrushes have rubber bristles, which I like. To me, they do not hurt. They reach the gumline and clean great. I haven’t tried brushing with toothpaste yet, because I just got them today. I do imagine toothpaste will be hard to fully clean out of them. I got these for my brother and I, he’s autistic, I’m not but we both hate brushing our teeth. I love how they clean all sides at once, I hate the feeling of my toothbrush at the back of my teeth, and this should cut down on brushing time. As for age range, anyone can use these. I’m 20, but I wish I found these sooner. I’ve had my share of cavities, because I wouldn’t brush. I’ve gotten better, haven’t had a cavity in a year! But still hate the feeling of brushing and I do tend to go a week or so without brushing. I still floss multiple times a week, though. I get the fluoride treatment when I go get a cleaning at the dentist, every 6 months. That really helps, I really recommend it. With these, I hope to get better at brushing. I’m going to start with brushing every night, then in a week or two start brushing in the morning too. I think for kids, these are great because I know when I was little, I didn’t clean the tops and backs of my teeth. I just cleaned the front and was done. The handle is easy to grip, children shouldn’t have a problem with that.

Soooooo, I got this toothbrush for my kiddo. It’s called the “Three Bristle Travel Toothbrush”. It’s got 3 small toothbrush heads angled in such a way that allows for all sides of the tooth to be brushed simultaneously, with “sensory safe material” all around. Intended to cut down teeth brushing time to just about 40 seconds. Rather than 2 minutes. (Not including floss time). It is the off brand one, and with that in mind there are some negative reviews for cheaper materials used…and it’s not as good as the electric competitor. Start small work up to big, right? (They have a name brand electric one that looks INSANELY cool Lol )🤷‍♀️ ISSUES I HAVE WITH THIS PRODUCT:
The major issues I have with this product are the materials used to line the toothbrush heads. I understand the concept, fully. The need for a sturdy toothbrush head is important, however the material isn’t really “sensory safe”…it’s harder plastic with little to no bend at all. When it scrapes against your gums it hurts, a lot! Even with minimal effort it still comes into contact with it. Advice for this would be to use a different material for the heads of the toothbrushes. A softer plastic or maybe a gel-like material. The bristles are hard, they definitely get the job done but I found they irritate even my teeth if brushed too hard or fast. They are soft enough that when my son bites down on the toothbrush, the bristles don’t stab or poke into his gums though, that’s really good. However, making them a bit smaller in size around and more of them together might alleviate this issue with the tips angled in such a way as to avoid any sensory triggers for some.
Anywho, I think after day 2 we finally are starting to get the hang of it and now and my kiddo INSISTS on brushing his teeth himself. IN FRONT OF THE MIRROR! 😱🤯👏👏😂 The time spent on actual teeth brushing is actually longer than 40 seconds though because he likes it and is still getting the hang of it but for reals. Small miracles and tender mercies! I’ll take the WIN! 🙌 Once he gets the hang of it we are definitely going to progress to the electric one! This was a good starter for sure!

My teenager got a telling off on their last trip to the dentist – they often rush their brushing and saw these recommend on a dentists website so thought we would give them a go. The shape of the bristles allows both sides of the tooth to be brushed at once. They don’t reach ll the way down to the gums on my teen so probably more suited to younger children but they are happy using them alongside their regular toothbrush. Will find out at their next appointment if it has made any difference!

  9. Your Reviewer 👍🏼👎🏼

The media could not be loaded.

If I could give zero stars, I would ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Let me just start off by saying these bristles are very hard plastic, so my children didn’t like them at first said that they hurt their teeth first of all I don’t really know how well they clean like I said in my previous review. I don’t like them you have to use a second toothbrush, in addition to these , also my children’s gums are receding and the dentist said to stop use of these immediately‼️

so now I have a ton of toothbrushes that I cannot use anymore. I contacted Amazon. I tried to contact the seller to see what we could do about this because I am unhappy. No contact back The customer service sucks‼️

I will definitely give an update if the seller contacts me and you know maybe they have a different product that they can offer me that works better. I don’t know that’s not gonna make gums receded and that’s not so hard. It’s pretty hard but once you put them in your mouth on your teeth, it does hurt after a few brushes so I’ve had these since 20 July and it is 20 August and it’s already caused a bunch of problems in a month .

Better to be safe than sorry and don’t waste your money because these are plastic bristles. There’s nothing soft or comfortable about this toothbrush at all style toothbrush yes but these are literal plastic hard bristles.

Gum health is just as important for teeth 🦷 as our teeth so do not buy please‼️
