I have other barrel lasers but this is one of the easiest to use and is very precise. I use it in about 10 handguns and it help me really dial them in. Yea I really got my use and was very happy with the results. The only issue was I used it so many times I wore out all the batteries and required more of the small O rings .I was ready to buy a new one because I was very happy with it Then I decided to call customer care. Julia the customer care rep was wonderful and understood what I needed. She contacted her supplier and had extra batteries and O ring shipped to me. Great service. Thank you Julia.

I have had some good experiences and some bad with various boresight lasers purchased on Amazon. This one was a GOOD experience. Once the batteries are installed and the 3 o-rings fitted on the laser, it slides easily but snugly into the barrel of any .22LR rifle or pistol or a .223 or 5.56 mm as well.
With poorly made lasers, I’ve had issues where rotating the laser in the barrel affects where the targeting point is, but fortunately this unit had no such problem. The laser remained true and it is then quite easy to align sights or optics to the red laser dot.
I used this with a 22/45 lite (.22LR) with fiber optic sights. It worked great. I then used it for setting up a red dot/magnifier combo on a Mini 14. It worked great for that too.
Be careful when removing the laser to make sure all 3 o-rings come out with it. If not, you’ll have to fish them out of your barrel. They can be reinstalled on the laser, or if you wish there are several replacement o-rings as well as spare batteries included with the unit.

NOTE: I saw a bad review which said the bore sight was only good for one use, for a set of batteries. Well, as pointed out, there’s no on/off switch, so after you use it, you have to take the batteries out.
The adjustable back sight on my Taurus TX22 was all the way to the left, and because I practice shooting both left-handed and right-handed, for several reasons, it seemed that I was confirming that the sight was set right, and the problem was only that when I shoot right-handed, I tend to shoot to the left.
With the bore sight in the pistol, I quickly sighted on a small spot on some plywood, at about 3.5 meters, in the house. I could see that the laser was hitting a little to the left, so I adjusted the sight to get the laser to hit on the spot.
Knowing that the sight had been off, I then shot at about 14 meters, and made small adjustments the normal way, by shooting groups.

It should include some tips to properly align it. If you use the thick O ring to have a tight fit, it won’t align properly because the land of the riflings do not equally sink into the rubber O ring. Found out that it should just fit exactly, not tight or loose, just exactly. Then test it by turning it 1/4 turn to a half turn several time to see if the laser light stays at the same point.

Inside the barrel laser site, this type is the most accurate IMO. I have 4 in different calibers. Love them. If u can rotate the laser while in the barrel & it stays true without moving around, (stays in the same spot) you hit the jackpot with confidence. Others will create a circle when rotated moving off mark, this does not. Take it to the range afterwards & evaluate..Great buy

Great product works as advertised however once battery is in it automatically comes on would have been nice if it had an on and off switch. But otherwise gets you on target easily and so close just needed few clicks on scope to zero at 30 yards .

This bore slighter serves it s purpose and is easy to use the drawback is the batteries don’t last long at all. I recommend when you order get extra batteries you will need them. The tiny batteries are kind of a pain to get in right so I ordered the 10 pack of 3 stacked battery secured together so you just slip the hold stack in as a whole not individually.
