Did the entire cat back system in less than one hour . It was an exact fit. My only complaint is it is way too quite at idle the stock exhaust made almost if not more sound. I think it has helped my MPG it’s been a week so the verdict is still out on that and I think it’s helped my overall performance no complaints other than I paid 900 dollars for a system that you have to be at half throttle to here the difference

Honestly it sounds it’s best at cold start. Low and slightly throaty at cold start. Once warmed up it sounds like every other tacoma 3rd gen with exhaust. Cabin noise is minimum. Sounds good with a cold air intake. I have the k and n and at high rpms it gets pretty rowdy. Love the black chrome tip too

Nice sounding exhaust notes with out over powering noise. Nice and quiet at low RPM slightly louder at highway speeds. (Please note this is is an 6-speed manual).
Defiantly worth spending the extra money for this kit!

This is a direct bolt on just as the TRD exhaust, and the sound is very mellow. I didn’t want the ricy sound, and am so pleased with this system. Love the welded on black tip as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a little more sound out of their 3rd gen tacoma, but not the fast & furious sound. At top end, it’s not much louder than factory exhaust. No drone whatsoever!

I purchased the Borla Type S exhaust for my Tacoma, the sound is very clean and very comfortable, the packaging was top notch, the quality of the product is very noticeable, I also selected the black stainless tip and it looks great. The installation was very straight forward and simple, I do recommend to buy also the tool to remove the hangers from the rubber bushings, you will need the tool. Very happy with the system and I love the sound and most important the quality of the product. Thanks

Have had this product on my Tacoma for a year now. The sound is much better than the other exhaust options for Tacomas. It’s mild with no drone. You will barely recognize a difference while driving regularly, but stepping on it sounds perfect. Came in original Borla packaging with a couple stickers and instruction manual on the install. Would highly recommend to any Tacoma owner.
