Amazon Customer –
I believed it from their description that it can be used for Asian vehicles. Turns out, it can’t. This was stated by their support that it will not work on vehicles sold outside of the United States.
Alexander Waplan –
Item operates ok, a little more complicated than described and seems to be hurt in transportation or pre-used, even if bought as “new”
Alex –
Bought this expecting more out of it, turns out it’s just a glorified scan tool. Cannot even read any ABS codes in my 2018 ford fusion hybrid. Purchase thinking it still had tech support but that seems obsolete being that the last update they made for it was in 2017. My advise don’t buy unless you have a 2017 or older vehicle.

What I liked about this Bosch diagnostic scan tool was its complete and full coverage of the vehicle engine and powertrain data stream codes and check engine light codes. The software defines the display diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) and has a data base with code setting criteria for the DTC definitions. There is also an experience-based database called CodeConnect which is derived from millions of phone calls from technicians diagnosing repair problems. I haven’t used that yet, but it could take the vehicle repair to the next level if you choose the most probable fix for the problem. What I had to overcome, during the setup with connection of the Bosch diagnostic scan tool to my windows 10 laptop, was with the links for downloading the Scanning Suite PC application. The instruction manual link references were year 2016 publication and not workable. I searched the Bosch website for model OBD 1350 and successfully located the needed downloads. Those were important since the laptop gives the technician better displays of codes and definitions as well as a print-to-file (notebook) capability. I bought it to repair a No-Crank problem with my Ford F53 motorhome chassis engine & transmission. It was too big to tow to a dealership and no mobile tech would provide an onsite diagnostic scan tool to communicate with the PCM. So now I can finish the DIY troubleshooting and repair. Yes, the price was reasonable and delivery took several days to my mailbox.

No cord to update. Needed update when purchased.

Excellent scanner. Works easily, looks and feels good in your hands. Easy to read screen and also tells you problems that have been fixed to turn that dam light off! I think it’s one of the best tools I ever had for live data with a very long list of PID’s.. Thanks BOSCH!

I have received the parcel earlier today, around 13 hours East African time. The delivery was timely and well before the predicted date, thanks to reliable, quick, professional and precision delivery services by UPS. Much appreciated.

I am no mechanic, however I am very happy with the Bosch OBD2. It has proven to be accurate and for the most part easy to use. I did not have to go through China for the updates. It gave me a brake pedal code, a airbag code and three ABS codes. I just wish that it came with a storage case.

Item arrived on time. It did not work as described in the product box. It did not see my Nissan NV200, it only saw my Kia Rio. I updated the software as described in the manual. but that was NOT easy because the link they provided was dead. I went to the MFG website and fish around to find software updates.
I followed the instruction and update it as required. It still did not recognize my vehicle. So I emailed their tech support. After a day they replied at it may not be compatible and that I needed a professional device.
I replied to them the following “This is bull crap. Model 1200 saw the vehicle and identified the ABS problem” Then I returned the item to Amazon for a full refund.
Buyer beware.
