Easy to install and good quality
Michael Landry –
Easy to install, light weight. I used this to my GT agressor.
Steven –
I needed to change it in my ebike and some bike stores didn’t want to fix it because liabilities. I bought this and the correct tool and was incredible easy. And saved hundreds of dollars. Yahoo!!!
Neil –
Product looks good but can’t be sure until I locate some mounting screws that were missing. I have ordered 5 more to retrofit a fleet of bikes. Hopefully all the parts come with the next order.
Joshua –
Mounted up with a narrow 113mm bottom bracket and still had to mount the chainring to the inside of the crank arm just to get a 52mm chainline(3mm outside of ideal, but still in the acceptable range).
The chainring mounting holes are not centered in the crank arm. This just looks bad, especially since I had to mount the chainring to the inside, making the badly positioned holes totally visible.
The chainring has an almost hooked shape to the narrow teeth and the chain jumps very badly in the largest 5 gears and the smallest gear, meaning I only have 3 usable gears that the chain won’t come off. It doesn’t matter which direction I run the chainring, either.
I am very disappointed overall. I am going to try a different chainring to see if it works any better. I thought a “Narrow-Wide” chainring was supposed to retain the chain better, not throw it off worse!

These are great love how strong they are

Bought this for my continued effort to upgrade my entry level weapon. With a BMX three piece conversion kit, the crank arms clear the engine on my motorized Huffy cruiser perfectly! I used a spacer on the axle to move the sprocket side closer to the frame for better chain alignment which helped give even more clearance on the other side keeping the crank arm farther away from the exhaust pipe and chain tensioner. They look fantastic too!

My old crankset had the pedals equidistant from the frame, but using this crankset one pedal is about 1cm closer the the frame than the other. It doesn’t bother me wearing sneakers, but I could imagine if you use clips it could be a problem.

Buen producto en relación a su costo. Material de calidad
Michael Landry –
Want my money back
Neil –
I’ve bought a few things from Bucklos to save money and not pay for the brand name. Sorry Shimano. I am impressed with the durability, look, and functionality of all their products. I put these on my gravel bike and have no complaints. The chain ring is holding up to the mileage and the crank arms are too. I am rebuilding another bike and will buy their products to outfit it.
Alan Bank –
Arrived on time and in good condition. Can’t comment on quality didn’t work with my setup chain stay didn’t alow the chainring size so I ordered a triple to allow a good top speed gear.
Darri –
For a chainring/crankset combo that had the branding of “SNAIL” on the chainring, I didn’t have huge expectations. But I’ve used the 32t red chainring with the cranks for a year on my townie commuter with a 7-speed rear and it’s worked great. Less chain drops than the previous single front chainring which was presumably the stock Electra. The townie stretched frame requires a super long chain, if you have a similar cruiser it worked fine with this setup with a SRAM 7-speed chain. Wear seems normal and the install was simple on square taper bottom bracket.
Seriously, the chainring says “SNAIL” right on it, how can you go wrong? The weird branding and the price were what sold me when I was browsing for it.
