Could not have asked for a better camera for the price. Photos are great, easy and light to carry, and overall a great camera.

For background I am a beginner automotive photographer. I mainly do outdoor private shoots. I previously had the Cannon EOS R100 and while it was great to learn photography I quickly started hitting its limitations. I was looking at either the R50 or this R10 for my next upgrade. I think this was the best decision I made as far as purchasing a camera for automotive photography. Here is my pros and cons list:
Pros:
-Excellent ergonomics
-Car subject detect for autofocus
-Best autofocus I have ever used (I no longer use manual focus because itโs that good)
-The build quality is much higher than that of the R100 or R50
-The flip out screen is amazing
-Being the first of the โprosumerโ
Cameras I get much more control
-The image quality with the same glass blows the R-100 out of the water
-Lower ISO with the same exact conditions compared to the R-100
-There are now 3rd party RF lenses available from Sigma and Tamron
-USB recharging
Cons:
-The battery life is shorter than what I would like but spares are cheap
-No weather sealing
Overall this camera is a great pic. I have no limitations in my automotive photography with this camera. It is also great for wildlife and portraits. If you are serious about photography I would skip both the R100 and R50 and go straight to this. This camera sits right in the sweep spot of price per performance.
TLDR itโs an amazing camera most people unless you are a hardcore professional shooter will never be help back by this camera.

As a beginner photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better camera than the Canon R10. From the moment I started using it, I found it incredibly easy to navigate and start capturing stunning photos.
The Canon R10’s user-friendly interface and intuitive controls make it perfect for newcomers to the world of photography. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to learn the ropes and start experimenting with different settings.

Purchased this Canon eos r10 as my first mirrorless dslr style camera. It’s very easy to use and navigate through the different features and settings. Even on automatic mode, it takes amazing photos. I did alot of comparison research between comparable models and this is the best bang for the buck with one of the best auto focus systems for this price point. Would highly recommend this camera!

I have had the camera less than a week and I am only writing this to advise others about non-Canon EF lenses. I purchased this with the 18-45mm for use indoors. I planned to use my Tamron EF 18-400mm lens for travel. I purchased Canon’s R to EF adapter. The Tamron lens, with the adapter, connected to the R10 just fine. The issue, as I discovered the hard way, is the R10’s autofocus system is not compatible with the Tamron’s. The lens would try a couple of times to focus, then stop with an out of focus scene. I have returned the adapter and ordered Canon’s R 100-400mm lens for travel. Will try to add more in a month or so after I have spend more time using the camera and the 2 Canon lenes.

First the bad thing: It does go through batteries… one per day easy. Make sure to get several and a charger. I got a charger that uses an USB port so I can charge on the fly with a USB power brick.
Now the rest…. really good camera. Easy to use, great feedback when adjusting the non auto modes.. I took it on a one month trip after two weeks of buying it. Played with it for maybe 10 hours before we went.
It has lots of features that I forgot how to use… perhaps a small laminated cheat sheet would make things easier… like a map of the very menus and instructions on the most likely uses: multiple shots, video, panorama, timer, etc… But if you want to take good pictures, the camera works very well. I ended up doing half my shooting in full auto mode and the other half in aperture and manual modes.
The built in display works really well and I appreciate that old “mirror” sound when I take a shot.
I put a 1TB card in it, took like 1000 shots in “high quality JPEG” and barely made a dent into the memory. I realize I should have stored them in RAW but this was for a vacation so I needed to make it fast and easy and the quality of the shots is very good.
The bluetooth interface to my phone was painless, I should figure out how to run it with the PC. Right now I just pull the memory out of the camera and pop it into a reader to download to the PC.

Iโm no pro by any means, but I am starting to learn photography. I absolutely love this camera. Upgrade the lens, if you can. Itโs small, lightweight, and takes crisp photos. I got the RF 50mm f1.8 lens and am super happy with my photos! After about a month, I have manual mode figured out!

Bought this as my first “pro” camera ever and eventually returned it for the R7 only because it was kinda small for my big hands. However it’s a great camera that takes great pictures! If you have shaky hands like me i’d also recommend going with the R7 unless every lens you get has IS in it. IBIS on the R7 works great! The other downside to the R10 is the super tiny viewfinder. Not sure why but it seems to be cropped for no reason other than they wanted to cut corners to make it cheaper. Makes the other info screens almost unusable because you can’t even see your picture then with all the stuff on the sides.
The lens is amazing and you should definitely go with this one over the other kit lens. It’s so versatile I rebought it with the R7 just so I have that 18-49 and 51-99 range that I am missing in my bag.

Siento que la bateria se descargo un poco rapido, sin embargo, es una camara muy buena, en esperar de comprar mรกs objetivos para sacarle un mejor provecho.

There is something to be said about the tactile sensation of a real camera that can’t be replicated with a smartphone.
i recently purchased the EOS R10 to document construction projects at work and also to shoot recreationally. If you are a beginner, the camera has many settings and special effects but can also be used with the A+ automatic setting without diving too much into the operation manual. The user interface, quality of the photos, and quality of the physical camera body and lens are top notch (Made in Japan). My only issue is the Wifi transfer is extremely slow so best to use a cable to transfer photos directly to your computer. Great camera overall and super happy with my purchase!
