After a little over a month of using this instrument, the 1st rotor valve has a noticeable gap and a click when pressed. It’ll be about time until it stops working. Also, the position of the trigger is very uncomfortable for the thumb.

The horn I received cannot play the G# note. But my son didn’t learn to play this note until after the time for returns closed. His instructor tried playing the G#, and confirmed it’s the horn that is defective.

I’ve played this horn for several months for fun. The horn has an interesting set of rotary valves that look like they’re smaller (radius) than normal rotors. This seems to be a weight saving techniques used by modern horn makers
The horn comes with a tuner which is pretty cool. The mouthpiece feels small, and it is difficult to find an exact fit mouthpiece in the USA. We ended up using Yamaha which fits well enough.
I can complain about pinky ring or thumb trigger not being adjustable, or that it is kind of heavy compared to horn that cost >$6000… But honestly for around $600 this is a really fun horn to play.
Future buyers might want to check if they can play the horn in tune with their own mouthpiece. Seems to me that intonation is easy on the mouthpiece it came with, but is much harder on other mouthpieces.
