Pretty good looking from afar but as soon as you hold it you know it’s cheap. On par with violins in the $150 range. Thick coating, lightweight, doesn’t sound great. Does stayed tuned better than some other cheap ones. Took a chance on this but yeah, you get what you pay for. Had to send it back.

I bought my violin in December…and have been playing basically everyday since I got it.

I hired a teacher and he has said that I am far advanced for one month of playing. I am 43 years old. I played violin briefly in high school, but I always loved the violin and the sounds it creates.

This violin comes ready to play out of the box. Of course you have to tune it and rosin your bow first, but the bridge was in place.

There’s an app called Soundcorset that I use to tune and it’s spot on every time. Though it comes with a tuner…I prefer the app.

The rosin is of good quality.

I first started researching the average cost of violins and felt that paying this low price for a violin would be a bad idea, but when my teacher played on it, and he allowed me to play his “thousands of dollars” violin…he made my inexpensive violin sound like a Stradivarius.

This is definitely a great investment and a violin that you can build on and customize until you are able to invest a few thousands into a better quality one. It was packaged nicely and I LOVE the case! I don’t use the shoulder rest.

I’m now looking to purchase an electric violin…it’s addictive!

This violin has a nice deep resonance. The strings are nice quality. The chinrest is comfortable. It’s a nice instrument for me to practice on and get my technique improved.

The product is not as good as it was described… no wonder it’s made in China. I regret to order it

I don’t normally write reviews but I was so impressed with this violin I had to write this. I lost 3 very nice violins in a fire in 2018 and one of them was a 1976 hand picked German Roman Teller that would be valued at around $5,000 right now. I would rate this muse violin’s quality to my Roman Teller. I put better strings on it but it was easy to tune and play right out of the case. The sound is bright and clear and was setup up correctly. I am impressed with every thing that came with this violin and would recommend for anyone just starting out or for an intermediate violinist on a budget. I got the dark oil finish and some people might not like it but it reminds me of an old violin look that I prefer. I do not like the red violins or the high gloss varnish. But They have many choices to choose from with a good return policy to boot. I am so impressed with this Christina violin that not only am I keeping it, I just ordered the upgraded model V11 from another website that will be my main violin and I will make this one my back up.

Everything is perfect including price $300 that feels like $800. Imitates antique violin look you may like it or not. I love it. Sounds very decent. I hope it last and I practice every day to perform and teach with this. Thank you Christina violins

As a beginner I did lots of research and comparisons before I finally purchased Christina violin on Amazon. Thank you for the customer service at Christina. The representative was very professional and responsive to answer my questions. It arrived 10 days earlier than the Amazon expected delivery date. The violin was designed elegantly and flawlessly. The Tones are smooth and clear. It also looks very high end and expensive. I got lots of compliments from my friends. Great value!

It’s a very nice violin. I just recently started playing and had private lessons growing up. I used to have a copy of a stradavarius. Those are so expensive tho.
This one is super nice for only $300.
