I bought this because my husband is 71 years old and has a difficult time lifting and installing window air conditioners. This was ease to install and it works awesome. It cools the room quickly and efficiently. It is not noisy and the remote helps with ease of use. The weight of the unit doesn’t matter because it has wheels and can roll wherever you need it to go!

Before buying an air conditioner I did a LOT of research. This one had no reviews but was at a reasonable price with 8500 BTU so I decided to take a chance. I was very excited when it arrived and set it up immediately. The window fitment was not the right size so I just ductaped the open area. There is an option to cut the pieces to fit but I wanted it up asap. The instructions were not the best but if you have a few braincells it’s not hard to figure it out. The pieces fit together. The biggest issue was all the spelling mistakes but English may be the second language so who cares. Now to the quality of the actual air conditioner. It is very sturdy and has led buttons and a remote control. There is a drainage hose that must be kept in a bucket (this thing really dehumidifies). This ac is meant for 360 square feet, but it cools 500 easily after a few hours. I’ve left it running for 2 days straight so far and had no issues. It’s keeping my apartment at a cool 60 degrees in 90 degree weather. Anyway, it works better than advertised, it is a reasonable price, and it’s from a small business.

I bought this item to cool down an over the garage bonus room. The room does not have a door and can get hot and stuffy in the summer. This item was fairly easy to install. It does not fit tight in the window opening so I will be adding weather stripping. The hose is much wider than I expected and not very flexible. The noise level is typical of a widow air conditioner. I would find it hard to sleep with it on. This item cools the room to a comfortable temperature, the price was reasonable and since I did not want a window air conditioner this item has met my requirements. I would buy this item again.
