Good quality and quite heavy as well
Comes with little velcro cable straps which is a nice touch and there are plently of places to tie up and neaten your cables
Only second computer I have built so not a wizard who knows everything but as far as I know good case.

  2. Amazon Customer

So first I’d start out by saying I purchased one from Amazon first. I ordered a black one but got a white one, so I bought one directly from Corsair. Got next day shipping with no added shipping cost.

The case is….a little heavy but I’m happy because that says quality and this case is. I honestly recommend watching someone build in it for hindsight reason. Looking into the case we see the PSU cut out, motherboard area and Cable shroud (kind of hate it but that’s later). Into the back, the case has pre-cable managed the 3 fans and front I/O. Love this but hate it because the cable management looks decent until you actually have to start assembling to which it becomes a nuisance.

The case comes 3x LL120s, absolutely gorgeous, LED strips already wired up. Thr front I/O comes with 4 type A ports (these are on two wires so remember that you need a Motherboard with 2 USB 3.0 headers). There’s a single type C port, an audio jack (input and output combined), a Reset switch and finally the power button that has its own lights as well.

Building in this case was in one word, Roomy. I never really felt like I was running out of room, maybe a little in the Under belly where the Power supply goes, but not too bad. I did remove the HDD tray so that helps. The connections felt easier thanks to already having 3 fans hooked up as intake so my AIO and exhaust fan were a breeze.

I’ll go over some things I have a problem with. The Cable management was the biggest as well as the cable shroud. I took off the shroud to run my 24-pin and tried to re manage my cables……it was tougher than I remembered. Was it that bad, not really but I was a little irksome having to disassemble and reassemble their work. It would be better if everything was included by not cable managed.

The cable shroud also becomes a problem if you Top mount an AIO and try to put it back in. I felt like I was going to bust a fan up.

In all this hulking beast of a case was amazing to work in with some faults. Looks gorgeous to boot. But those faults are mostly user error and some dumbness on Amazon and Corsair. If you want Premim this is the go-to.

    My build as follows:

    Ryzen 9 5900X
    MSI Suprim X 3090 Ti
Asus Rog Strix x570-E gaming Wifi II
    Corsair ICUE 150i Elite LCD
4 Corsair LL120 (3 for AIO and 1 for exhaust)
    Corsair RMx 1000W Power Supply

Nothing fancy, just a nice well designed case with everything needed for a complete build. Heavy, mostly metal construction with a glass side (not acrylic). Fans look good and are fairly quiet unless you are really pushing your system. Easy to hide most of the cables on the backside and the included Velcro cable management straps work well. I also like the included iCUE RGB controller that handles up to 6 RGB fans and has 2 included thermal sensors that can be placed in different areas of the case. The iCUE device also controls the 6 RGB strips with the additional included driver.

This is a well made case. Plenty of airflow to keep your PC components cool, and plenty of mounting space for 120mm fans and 360mm radiators in the front and up top. Front IO comes with 4 USB 3.0, which means this case has 2 usb 3.0 wires. As most motherboards only have one usb 3.0 header, this means you might need to buy a splitter, or an internal hub to get full utilization out of the front IO. Also, LOTS of RGB. This is also a MASSIVE case, much bigger than the typical mid-tower. Size-wise, it’s about the size of a full-tower, but internally it’s slightly more spacious than a mid-tower.

My only gripe is that the case is a bit complicated to get around. Trying to take off the side fan mount, the cable cover and the PSU shroud was not easy. There are screws that aren’t the most accessible, and I would most certainly recommend looking up the user manual (on Corsair’s website).

This case is pretty expensive but man is it nice! The lighting works great and it comes with a 6 fan connector already attached and ready to use. The cable management clips and spaces are well placed and easy for a novice builder to make good use of.

This case is spacious and easy to build in. The design of the case is excellent! Once I took a closer look at the case, I realized why it cost what it does… It is worth it!

When it comes to Mid Tower ATX cases – this is about as good as it gets. From construction to its capabilities, this is a solid choice and comes in two great color combos Black and White/Gray. PLEASE NOTE – This has a 360 top – therefore you can only fit a 360-rad and below – This will not fit a 420mm radiator. This is an extremely high-end case, and because of that, has some of the best workings and hinges I have had the chance to work with. This case is truly worth the money at MSRP and even better on sale. This is beyond just a case, and we are in the luxury territory – so keep that in mind.

Construction- Just like every other PC at this price point, this is created with a metal chassis and tempered front and side glass for optimal RGB. Nothing on this PC felt cheap while building it and even the things that could have been plastic or cheaper were generally above the quality I expected – Especially for $500, this is what we should be expecting. It has one 3.1 USB type C and four 3.0 USB type A on the front case connectors along with a Mic/headphone port, power, and restarts.

Cable Management – This case comes with a great main channel to route Cables through and several ties for management down the line in the build. You will need your own zip ties, but your cable management opportunity here is based on your skill and not really the case as Corsair has really killed it with this one. This case is the typical build channel for corsair cases, and if you have built-in one before… you will find yourself at home here.

Features/Fans- The fans that the case comes with are…ok. For $500 which I thought would at least be the Mag lev, but I am still happy they threw in three of them. If you are doing an I5 or below you should be good, however, if you are putting anything serious in here you will need to get more fans. The case comes with its own RGB hub (core XT) in the back good for 6 fans as well as an LED hub for the LED light strips. plan on using one of their nodes or some other method for your 6+ fan headers other than what is brought in on this case. Another great feature is every vent you could want a mesh fan filter – has one and they are pretty good! It has three places in the back for SSD’s and a Hard Drive caddy good for two HDDs or four SSDs (must buy an adaptor for the 4 SSDs but it has the potential for two out of the box).

Conclusion – If you like the aesthetic of the case, pull the trigger at amazon! They generally have better deals vs corsair. This was a great case to build in and I have zero complaints, I upgraded the fans and added another core (which came with the AIO I got for it so it wasn’t additional) and I was all good to go on the case. Truly another Mastercraft example of corsairs ability to build and execute on high-end cases.

Something to Note – This is a more difficult case to build in due to the LED strips on top of the LED lights and anything else you might add. Cable managing was a bit harder in this case due to the volume of cables I was using. This case, does, however, come with a two-year warranty which is really nice!
