I love this , I use the grinder function all the time with Eight O’Clock Coffee beans, reminds me of the A&P stores when I was small ( the aroma of fresh ground coffee). It does seem to grind a little too much, so I always have a slight amount of spillage, but I can live with that. Glad I bought it.
UPDATE: I just tried using a k-cup (starbucks) and it does not seem to work. I am putting the K-cup inside the grey barista cup(where you would put the ground coffee holder), water leaks out and the coffee is very weak.

I purchased the white machine and really like the look of it on my counter. That was a factor in my decision. I’ve had 3 or 4 Keurigs and was finally fed up. I’m the only coffee drinker in my home so no need for a carafe or coffee pot. I love the being able to use my own beans and grind them right there. I would never expect a coffee grinder to be quiet, I run it early in the AM and it doesn’t disturb anyone in my home. I’ve had it a little over a year and its been reliable and makes good coffee, better than I’ve had at home. As far as any mess goes, tap the machine, jiggle the kcup and no grounds spill out. Easy fix.

I have previously owned the Cuisinart Fully Automatic Burr Grind and Brew coffee pot and decided to buy this since that product has been worked flawlessly since 2012. I wanted something that I could just make a single cup of coffee but still wanted to use the beans I buy. I gave this multiple tries over the course of a week but there are many issues.
The reservoir for the beans is probably 70% taken up by the grinder motor and filling it up is messy since the motor casing is bouncing beans out of the reservoir.
The grinder overfills the pod so you have extra grinds all over the place. I have to start and stop it manually as it’s too messy.
The coffee is too weak for me. I can’t tell
If it’s the grind, as it is a larger grind than I would expect. I like my coffee pots burr grinder cause it has a dial to change the size of the grind. I bought a tamper to pack it in but it wasn’t as strong as a decaf nespresso pod or a Major Dickinson’s kcup from Peet’s. I think if the grind was finer, it would be better.
Probably going to return and look for something else.

I really like that I can use pods or actual beans. The bean grinder works quite well, but the ancillary coffee holder (kept on the side of the machine) is a complete pain. I bought a re-useable plastic keurig pod (Reusable Cups for Keurig K-Cup 2.0 and 1.0). The grinder grinds up into the re-useable pod quite well. There is a small amount too much but I just put it in the pod that comes with the cuisinart. After about 4 grinds, there is enough for another cup.
Altogether, I really like this machine.

So the first thing is you open it and it looks like the grinder is all dirty, so read the little paper that tells you they test it and clean it as best they can and be glad they test it. And you ignore that and try and clean it and then figure out they cleaned it as best as they can.
The grinder works well and just fills the included reusable cup to the right amount in about 10 to 15 seconds.
Brewing is a little interesting because unlike some other brewers it takes a min to heat up even after it’s been turned on. It only heats the water right as you brew.
I ran into 1 problem with non standard k-cups that have a paper top. There’s something with the way this one punctures and does pressure in a ring around the puncture point that made it so any of the paper topped K-Cups failed and grinds went everywhere.
Proper K-Cups work fine. But honestly it’s just kind of nice to grind fresh beans but still have the option to use individual cups.
I think the downsides are that there’s not really a great way to put big tumblers even if you took the drip tray away and mounted it up on something there’s still the thing that holds the drip tray that’s in the way you can kind of lean a Tumblr up to it but that’s a thing to be aware of.
The water tank does not have LED lighting which is fine because it’s behind it but it’s something you get used to with some of the other ones.
The tank is pretty easy to lift up and pull it out so you can kind of take advantage of this being a smaller size Brewer and even the tank being in the back it’s still something that easily can be lifted out and around the side of it if it’s underneath a cabinet. It’s also easy to put it back on it index is pretty well as it’s sliding down and I’ve had no issues putting the tank back in and having to worry about it not being in right.

Love this coffee maker as it can grind and brew, all in one. Coffee tastes like coffee shop quality. Only downside is cleaning, but you gotta do what you gotta do! I only really clean when I use flavored coffee.

If you are considering this machine… get it!
It is great.
The grinder is somewhat noisy but didn’t wake anyone up! It was a perfect amount of coffee for my 12oz cup.
I love that you can stop the grinder at any point.
A perfect cup!

Pros:
Very versatile. I like that it can take whole bean coffee, ground coffee, and k-cups. Produces good coffee when used correctly. I drink more coffee than ever before. The grinder dispenses almost the perfect amount (I usually add another 1-2 seconds of grinding to top it off).
Cons:
It is difficult to remove the used grounds from the reusable filter. Sometimes I use it, but I also buy K-Carafe sized individual paper filters. That way, you can simply remove and dispose of the filter. These work pretty well, but it overflows a tiny bit. It doesn’t cause a mess, it just drips out the side of the bottom funnel, into the cup.
Also, sometimes the machine makes a little bit of noise, even when turned off. If it bothers you, you have to unplug it.
Neutral:
Coffee from the reusable filter tastes a little different than coffee from paper filters and k-cups. If you don’t like it, you can buy k-carafe sized paper filters to use instead.
If you want to use pre-ground coffee, you have to be fairly exact about the amount. Just a bit too little and you’ll have a weak cup. A bit too much, and it will overflow a bit. You want to get it just so that you can barely see the top outline of the mesh filter. If you buy individual paper filters, it’s not as sensitive.
