    4 stars because it’s a bit pricey.

I have used these strings before. They are great strings and work well on the Steinberger headless guitar. I would definitely recommend them.

I bought these hoping they’d fit a Kiesel headless Vader. Nope…too short. I’m sure these are great strings for a Steinberger however.

What the hell are these? They were some weird, extra short, double ended strings. Never even seen this in my 20 years playing. Guess I’ll have to go to guitar center to get a pack that actually works.

I had used Dean Markley’s for 35+ years, but they discontinued my favorite style, and these have been a superior replacement.

These are brilliant. The longest lasting strings I’ve ever seen by far. Months after the Ernie Balls on another guitar have oxidised and have been replaced, these are as good as new. Will definitely stick with these from now on

Like many others, I bought an aftermarket String adapter for my Steinberger so I could use any single-balled string on my guitar without being stuck with double-balled strings and be able to use my favorites (Ernie Balls) without issue. My issue fell with the adapter, as bends would quickly cause the strings to snap because of the adapter and using the trem system was a guaranteed way of breaking most of the strings. It was pretty upsetting so I went with these D’Addarios just to forego any breaks.

So far, they’ve worked out well, I’ve beaten the hell out of these strings, push and pulled the trem to it’s limit and the strings are maintaining really, really well. No signs of extreme wear and they sound just as good as the day I put them on. My playing is diverse and the strings suit anything but I’m more of a metal player and they sound fantastic for the heavier sides of metal. I’m definitely putting these strings through their paces and I’m very pleased.

The worst part about these strings is I cannot find them in any local stores because really, who’s going to carry such a niche set of strings? So I always have a back-up set just in case of any breaks. As it stands now I don’t think I have to worry about that though.

Everything you’d expect from D’Addario! I use these on my Steinberger Licensed “The Jack.” by Hohner They are a bit shorter in scale than some of the standard Steinberger full sized (25″) scale guitars more for the “Synapse” type headless guitar styles.

Nice bright tone that doesn’t dull quickly, and that lasts a very long time, keeping a crisp sound and articulation.

    Love these strings…

Used on my Steinberger. I am an Ernie Ball user but these are the only other brand of string I will use for the genre I play. Was skeptic to go back to this brand but since Ernie don’t make a double ball string, I tried these and they were great!
