I’ve had this printer for a few months now, and it works great….when it works. There are constant paper feed errors, tray selection errors, extra page errors, paper size errors…and on…and on. It has worked normally perhaps 10% of the time, no exaggeration.
I don’t have a lot of experience writing firmware, but I have been developing full stack web applications for nearly a decade. I would never release a product with this many problems. The interface is over-engineered, and the printing unreliable. Avoid this printer!

I have 2 of these at my corporate office (IT Manager, i chose these based on their capabilities and being a Dell product) and they are great printers for the price. We just needed robust monochrome printers to churn out thousands of pages a week, these do the job wonderfully. Don’t look at the other review, that person rated the printer 1 star based on buying through someone who couldn’t honor the warranty work. Do your research and you’ll love the printer.

The printer itself works fine. My issue is with the supposed 3 year warranty. It is only a 16 month warranty.
