DII Woven Paper Storage Bin, Medium Rectangle

I kind of love them but I’m also kind of ambivalent. They have a nice rustic ‘natural materials’ look to them, which in a way is enhanced by the fact that they never really fully straighten out the wrinkles due to how they were crushed in the shipping box. But that’s sort of a plus and a minus at the same time. I would like it if they had a softer look and / or the wrinkles could soften and smooth out like they appear in the promotional photo. On the other hand, they are supposedly foldable for storage, but being the barrel shape they are and the material they are, let’s be honest, they don’t fold, they crush. Yes, you *can* crush and mash them into a compact form and stuff them onto a shelf, but after all the effort I went to getting them UN-crushed from the shipping box, and wishing they could be further straightened out for a neater look, I really don’t want to cush yet more folds and wrinkles into the 2nd one to stow it away between laundry sessions (I’ve shown it stowed in the second photo). My plan was to keep one out for general laundry tossing, and only bring the second out when it’s time to do laundry and I need to separate the darks and lights, but now I’m l feeling inclined to leave them both out because continually folding (crushing) one is not really appealing, but my closet space is at a premium so I’m undecided at this point whether I want to keep looking for a different solution. They do look pretty nice though.

Sturdy.. good size

I’m the type of person that looks over an item for rips, tears, or stains before I buy it. This had a gross yellow stain at the top and I plan to try and clean it. I really don’t want to hastle with returning this large item and in the midst of the holiday season… I would give this thing 3.5 stars if I could. The price is great! And the item is nice, although bigger than I thought (I got the Medium size). It fits very well in my small bathroom as a hamper but it is so wrinkled and smushed from shipping. I really hope the kinks come out over time. As well as the stain… but for the price I will probably just buy a different one in the future. This works for now.

Love how easy these are to fold and store only issue would be that when you first get them the folds don’t come out. I have had mine for almost 7 months and the lines are still in them. I cut sturdy pieces of card board from the box and used it to hold them open but they still have the lines on one side bad then they get marks when someone reaches into them or uses them often. I have mine in our mudroom bench for storing shoes or other items cause we custom made it and normal baskets or wire bins were not large enough. Wish the folds wouldn’t stay and were able to over time come out cause I love the black and white design. They also are not super sturdy they bend easily

I bought two of these medium size baskets. Love! Very nice outer material and lining. Like the rope handles. Deep enough to hide contents. Have to put enough stuff inside so the soft walls stay up. Will consider more styles/sizes to purchase in the future.

When I bought this, I didn’t know what to expect. I just needed something to put in my living room that could hold dog toys, and was halfway stylish. Many of the other things I looked at were 3 times the price. After reading some of the reviews about it being flimsy and poor quality, I was unsure, but for the price I figured it was worth a shot. Well, it exceeded my expectations. I’ve had no problems with it staying up, and it’s good quality. It is exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely buy more to put in other parts of my house.
