I purchased this as an early Christmas gift for my mother in law. She said that she can’t believe how dirty her house must have been because this is picking up so much more dust and dirt than her last one. She reported that the suction is amazing, and very easy to use. It’s not heavy, and the included attachments are very good. She even went so far as to say she’s sneezing less since getting this! Thank you!

I bought two of these vacuums in the last year. One for myself, and one for my in-laws. Both had the same issues almost immediately.
+This vacuum is lightweight.
+Suction is good.
+Handy extension.
+Filters clean easily.
-There is no hard wood/carpet/thickness adjustment.
-Handle bends in half if youโre pushing through thick rug.
-Handle splits apart, and cannot be pressed back together.
-Cord goes over accessory piece and is cumbersome.
-Extension hose doesnโt stay clipped, I had to use sticky Velcro to keep it in place.
-Upright โstickโ seaming to wear quickly. Beginning to fall on itโs own without me pushing with my foot to unlock it from the upright position.
-Extremely loud.

The situation is looking bleak. The move to our promised lands was one that we regarded with joy. Ignorance. We paid no heed to the trials that would await us, and we suffered for it. Look at us now: our tactics aren’t working. Our weapons are failing. Morale is at an all-time low. They pick and prod at us no matter what we use– and they laugh at us while doing so. I have picked off countless of them, but for every one I kill, another three spring up in their place.
The enemy that has near driven me and my men to insanity: fleas.
We had a weapon before, an effective one. It was not the strongest, but it got the job done. I saw it in my men’s eyes, though: we all knew that it was meant to be a temporary measure, only until our footing in the new lands was secure. It is precarious at best at this point, but we are running out of options. I know it is time. We all know.
Begrudgingly, I call in for reinforcements.
Year 0, July 6. 0756 hrs
A communication from the reinforcements came in: they are on their way. ETA is scheduled to be by 2000 hrs tomorrow.
My men were staring at me. I didn’t understand why, but Cpt Pepper and Sgt Mint were brave enough to answer: for the first time in months, I was smiling.
Year 0, July 7. 1318 hrs
The reinforcements have arrived. They did not require much time to prepare, five minutes at most, but we would not march until later in the day. Time was still needed to prepare. Security in these promised lands have to be maintained, and negotiations are constantly underway.
Your days are numbered, fleas.

BATTLE ONE: LIVING ROOM
The time has come, and the reinforcements are prepared. Not intending to give the enemy any quarter, we begin our assault. The reinforcements let out a battle cry that surprised even me, and made me fear for my men: a little too enthusiastic, I feared our border neighbors would think we were encroaching on their territory. As loud as they were, though, they were effectiveโVERY effective. In all my years in service, I have never seen more effective work. They moved hard and fast, pushing against the enemy, until the territory was cleared of their pestilence. Their work was thorough, with a power I’ve never seen. In a matter of minutes, the territory was as it was before the fleas invaded.
For the first time in months, I dared to hope for a brighter future.

BATTLE TWO: BEDROOM+WALKWAY
The reinforcements moved with the same efficacy as they did in the first territory. They show no signs of fatigue, no signs of performance lossโthey are still very much cleaning house against the enemy and then some. It is expected, but no less thrilling.
Cpt Pepper and Sgt Mint are nowhere to be found. I wager they’re just as spooked about their rally cries as I was. I do not blame them.

BATTLE THREE: STAIRWAY
The reinforcements have run into their first roadblock. I am not used to their methods, and though I adapted as well as I could, there was still quite a lot of ground to cover in this terrain. I may have to consider a special task force for this terrain. They’ve done what they can, and they’ve done it well.

BATTLE FOUR: OFFICE
The battleground was a mess. There was debris from all the past battles in here. The land was barely recognizable from what it once was. The reinforcements understood the situation, and adapted with aplomb. In a matter of minutes, the terrain was cleared. We reclaimed the land and the corruption was contained.
I’m staring over the results of our battle, and I can only dare to have a sliver of hope.
Year 0, July 7. 1925 hrs
Our forces have retreated back to camp, the reinforcements now working on maintenance and cleaning. Sgt Mint is settled beside me, shaken by the whirlwind she just experienced, but now relaxed. We are discussing tactics with the arrival of our reinforcements now watching out backs. They were effective before, but now they were a force to be reckoned with. Sgt Mint, for the first time since they arrived, understood my newfound optimism.
We have won many battles this day… but the war has just begun.

Easy to unbox and assemble, the wife did it, said she couldn’t wait on me to assemble it. We’ve used Dirt Devil vacuums for more years than I’ll admit to. Good product, great suction, easy to clean, filters are excellent. Clean filters weekly, I use compressed air, but tapping them against the trashcan also works good. The wife loves it for it’s light weight and ease of handling. It’s true, happy wife makes for a happy life. I recommend this product because the wife said so. LOL

New review (Edit):
I was unfair in my original review of this product. This vacuum is POWERFUL. Once I got over some real life problems that prevented me from returning/fixing the vacuum I ordered, I finally sat down and took it apart and fixed the belt (after ordering new ones). Turns out the belt didn’t actually break it just came unseated – probably because of the sheer horsepower this thing has.
Every time I use this I’m actually disgusted by the amount of dirt it picks up. 10/10 would probably buy again tbh. It’s a very cheap, strong vacuum and is easy to clean. It’s worth noting that I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and I haven’t had any problems since putting the belt back on. I did the same thing to the replacement vacuum they had sent and gifted it to my mom. Not sure how both vacuums managed to do the same thing with the belt but they work perfect now.
Original review:
I used the vacuum twice, belt broke. I asked for a replacement, that came (pretty fast tbh) and did the same exact thing. I didn’t end up sending the vacuums back due to rl stressors, but I’m sure the 3rd would have done the same. They were dusty boys though, the vacuums tried their hardest before they pooped out.

Amazing suction! I had central vac in my previous place so I needed a vacuum for my new place. My area rugs that were previously vacuumed by the central vac before I moved; I laid them out in my new place and used this vacuum and tons of dog hair kept filling the cannister! Amazing suction. Don’t much care for the instruction manual which is grey paper with faded black pictures. So for someone with compromised vision, it was a pain to try and read. I ended up looking at the box picture to assemble. Took a few attempts to get the suction hose in the right area! PLEASE MAKE YOUR INSTRUCTION MANUAL USER FRIENDLY AND CLEAR. Reason for 4 stars is that when using the extension hose, I don’t like that the base keeps vacuuming so it moves around. Other than that, great little vacuum, amazing suction and a cup that empties and a filter that is washable.

Let’s be honest, if you are looking at this vacuum, you are trying to find the cheapest name-brand vacuum that works. That’s where I was two years ago. I had just bought a new house and only had a couple of rooms with carpets. I had already spent enough and just needed something to use for ten minutes per week.
First, this is the loudest vacuum I have ever owned. I do a lot of amateur woodworking and have a reasonable tolerance for loud tools. I need hearing protection to use this. It also generates crazy heat. It will raise the temperature in a room by 5-10 degrees just with a five-minute vacuuming session.
That said, I also have a battery-powered Dyson for quick touchups. This thing has to be at least ten times as powerful though. When the touchups aren’t enough, I break this out and it thoroughly cleans everything. I just did a 15-minute vacuum session in three small bedrooms and managed to fill the machine. And this is despite my daily touchups with the Dyson.
At the end of the day, if I was using this for whole house cleaning every week, I’d get annoyed with it. It does have a cheap feel and doesn’t feel like it would hold up to heavy use. For light weekly usage, though (with ear plugs and the a/c on), it is perfect. Already lasted me 2.5 years, and I don’t think I’ll be replacing it in the next decade.
