Durability and Expandability
While the camera unit is waterproof, the front touchscreen module and power module are not. For extended underwater use, it’s recommended to use the Action 2 Waterproof Case. Performance and Battery Life
When recording in 4K/120fps, the Action 2 will stop filming when the set Auto-Stop Rec Temp is reached. In standard mode, 4K/120fps video can be recorded for around 3 minutes, and in high mode, for around 5 minutes. Maximum battery life is achieved when recording video at 1080p/30fps (Power Reserve mode) with electronic image stabilization disabled, under lab conditions.

I wanted to love this camera so much I wouldn’t need to buy another GoPro. However, as much as I love the Dji cameras on my Dji drones, this package falls way short of my hopes of having a small action camera.
It has many great features but overheats and the battery life is miserable. The touch screen interface is confusing and when trying to setup a shot I have to use the phone app to switch modes and change settings reliably.
I am not impressed with this camera kit at all.

Evolutif et attache par aimant des accessoires c’est suprenant au début.
J’en suis trés satisfait la qualité est bonne avec des fonctionnalités comme la stabilisation qui sont trés abouties.
Il y a mieux c’est sur mais pour ce prix c’est difficile de faire mieux. utilisation en plongée le rendu des couleurs est vraiment trés bon avec le grand capteur.
A tendance à chauffer un peu en 4k sans le boitier thermique.

The versatility and quality of this little camera is unparalleled. The first thing you notice coming out of the package is the weight and premium feel of the aluminum body. Yet despite the heft, the camera is surprisingly light.
The 4K120 capability makes this the perfect POV companion to your larger cameras, and small enough to get the impossible shots where a regular action camera won’t fit. I previously bought two of the 32GB models, but this new 128GB model is the PERFECT choice. The 32GB just didn’t have enough internal storage. At 4K24 I would get about 20min of video, and for longer POV driving shots, it just wasn’t enough. With the 128GB I can shoot until the battery dies, hook it up to the screen module and recharge/offload onto the MicroSD and be on my way again. I also wear it on the pendant when I’m just out walking around. I LOVE this little camera!

Got this on sale (right before DJI releases action 3 obviously, hence the discount) and love the size of image quality. I think this form factor works perfectly for the action camera to be mounted to bicycle or motorcycle helmets. It’s basically half the size of other action camera. You can add the front screen or battery pack to make it the same size of course, but have a choice to make it smaller is unique. I don’t like the high temp shutoff. However, with the magnetic protective case it helps a bit. And if I use this when go swimming, or riding the temperature was never an issue.

It serves it’s purpose. Captures everything VERY well. Only downside is that you’re only able to record for as long as it let’s you before it overheats and stops automatically. The higher the quality frame rate you want, the hotter it gets. I was able to get between 20-35 mins @1080p/30fps WITH the “heatsink” case. I have yet to experiment with it. Also recommend an accessory kit to make recording a bit more interesting and fun.

Great camera for beginners and pros alike. Make sure that you also purchase the protective case cause this camera overheats pretty fast on long shoots. The case helps somewhat. Just be sure to keep your shoots short and,

everything about this camera is amazing i like it more way more than go pro, the battery lasts way more than go pro, i didnt have time to do reviews but now i do have more time so i can finally make reviews for people that really need it. The camera capture of the timelapse is amazing the lighting it contains is amazing, very adaptable everywhere, super lightweight, read and write speed is fast, i always keep my power bank with me so i can always have power for my dji action2. Is because i used it alot of times on my trips. i love using this camera for everything i even mount it with the adapters in my car and get amazing vids. is just something else, super portable theres even neck mounters for this, tripods, etc. never ending story. Got the best resolution ever and super sturdy while using the stabilizer inside the camera. i am extremely happy by purchasing or well i didnt buy it. It was a gift from my mom because i flew to japan and stayed in there for 3 months but omg i captured so much good content that i still need to edit photos, vids etc. i freaking love it!

The DJI Action 2 has been upgraded to include 128gb of memory now. I have two of the original 32gb models with the power modules and screen modules. They are such a great small sized action camera with great stabilization features. When I heard about the upgrade, I purchased two of the 128gb models with the additional power modules. The only issue is with overheating, and then shutting down. However, I do my keep them cool by placing a very quiet muffin fan in close proximity to keep a generous flow of air around them when in use.
