The tuner is easy to use. It is accurate. I have only used it on a guitar, but I expect that with other string instruments, it will do as well.

I like this model for its cost, quick resolution of the note, and small size. I use it only for standard guitar tuning.
The one dislike is that the thing seems to have a loose part inside which resonates with some notes I play. So when I am playing quietly at home with no amp, there are various buzzing noises, and I have to remove the device after using it to tune the guitar.
None of the other tuners I own do this.

Firstly, the caveats. If you buy it, here are some things that will save you some frustration.
1) The battery compartment opens by turning the cover CLOCKWISE. That’s backward from almost everything else.
2) The power button also selects the tuning mode via repeated presses once on. If you are tuning a Uke and have it set to Guitar, it won’t be able to pick up all the strings.
The tuner is made from flimsy plastic. The tuner sometimes takes a second or two to pick up on a plucked string. And it is sometimes slow to track adjustments.
All in all, you get what you pay for, and for a little bit more, you can get, and I have gotten, a much better value.

This tuner is an excellent tool with a nice secure, spring loaded clip-on design, and padded clips to prevent damage to your instrument. Includes a typical CR2032 battery. The bright, light-up display shows when you’re near the correct note and when you hit the sweet spot, making tuning easy. It features multiple modes for various instruments like general chromatic, guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, and banjo. As someone who plays both guitar and a little ukulele, I find it particularly helpful for the ukulele, as it has a relatively unique scale on it, so it’s definitely a great helper there. All in all, it’s a versatile and user-friendly tuner. Would recommend!

I had (and lost) a Donner tuner and bought a lesser brand as a replacement, but ended up returning to what I know works, and this ‘ Donner Guitar Tuner Clip on-Accurate Chromatic,Acoustic Guitar Bass Violin Ukulele Tuner DT-2’ definitely works!
I love this tuner! It works so easily and doesn’t rely on a microphone as some do, but on vibration, which is vastly superior. As such it is accurate and perfect. It simply clips onto my ukulele and within seconds I can get tuned and playing. Mic-based tuners aren’t a great idea because mics can’t pic up sound well enough to tune an instrument well.
Long story short, this is a great tuner and exactly what I need to tune my Uke with great accuracy and ease. It’s also compact and battery-efficient.
