head stud spacing on most 66cc kits is 45 mm this cylander has 44mm stud spacing. it will work but its an absolute pain to get the head on after the jug pushes all your head studs outwards like 2mm. it has alot more power vs the stock jug. without any porting you should expect around 7500k rpm max under load without porting

I was looking for a 50mm bore iron sleeve cylinder for my YD100, the V100 minarelli-style cylinder kit was the closest fit I could find.
My kit came in good condition.

I read the previous reviews and followed recommendations; cleaned the ports, honed the cylinder, washed the cylinder in gasoline, two YD100 bottom gaskets set the piston to cylinder head squish to .8ish.
I installed the 50mm iron cylinder kit on a new YD100 bottom end with a new LD100 high compression CNC cylinder head.
12mm wristpin bearing from a CDH110 engine (12x15x15)
20:1 gas oil/gas mix – non ethanol 87 with .5oz octane booster per 1gal gasoline
NGK BPM8Y Spark Plug (5574)
PZ22 Carburetor
CDH88 Expansion Chamber

sad to see other customers kits were very poor quality, i got lucky and received a halfway decent kit. not to scare new builders but you get what you paid for i have to do extensive port work and clean up to get the preformance i wanted out of this iron block. unless you are an experienced builder and has ported before and is also willing to take a gamble at it for fun i would not recommend this. i rose my exaust port and when i was doing port work i found a ton for casting sand in the transfers had to clean that up, if you want some info about the port work of followed got check out the yt channel “Kensters Bikes and things” he did a great job on the port work. another thing i want to address is the piston, just buy a low hole piston and window it yourself, the kits piston is terrible quality. i was able to reach 13k rpm with a pipe, balanced crank, tuned pwk 19, custom windowed piston, and a better head. hope this helped anyone out.

A china version of a 70cc Yamaha minarelli vertical cylinder. A couple casting flaws but nothing some sand paper and port work can’t fix. Should be able to make decent reliable power from this for cheap.

Piston wasn’t great, lost compression after only 2 rides, installed the factory cylinder and piston ran fine. Heard some people have good luck with this kit, and some don’t. I got the unlucky one. I will order another so see if the quality improved.

It will most likely not slap on as you may have to grind the base to fit it. But works great, makes a night and day difference compared to the old 66cc jug. Would highly recommend if you’re not afraid to tinker with it
