I like that they are a bit stiffer, for me, they’re better for speed and lower action, nice long lasting tone.

Second set of these for my bass. Takes a little bit for a break in period to what I like sound wise but good strings and stay in tune all night.

They produce too much honk, unpleasant with any EQ position. Back to Slinky.

I purchased these to try on my Fender Jazz Bass and they sound fantastic. They were shipped the same day and arrived very quickly. Good service.

Great strings. Period. Using them on my P-Bass for my pop punk band and they give a very lively, bright, and in your face tone while being maintaining their integrity. I don’t plan to stop buying these strings anytime soon.

Serves it’s purpose. The brand my son trusts for his bass needs.

Very ‘chorusy’ sounding strings. Have a huge punch, very nice high mids, and full low end.

The tension is also pretty tight. Fantastic strings for long-scale necks.

Only downside is the ‘residue’ effect these strings give off. Fresh out of the pack, they leave this dry-chalky feel on your fingers. After a good 20 hours of playing, the residue will be gone. Had the same thing happen when I used DR Longnecks taper cores.

I really like DR strings. They are all i use on my bass. Only reason for the 1 star deduction is because the 5th string on this particular set is too thick at the end and does not fit in the nut hole on my Warwick FNA Jazzman 5. Only string set I’ve ran into this problem with. Had to “make it fit” and when I did they sounded great as always from DR and had a good longevity.

Oh yeah, these strings are it. They stay in tune, have enough tension to withstand D standard, and most of all they combine a pretty deep low end with piano-like harmonics. To cut through in metal, that’s precisely what I need. In fact I go further and lower the action, then either use a pick or hit the strings toward the body as I pluck with fingers in order to get maximum clack and rattle. In a mix, through some overdrive from a BassDriver or Bass Attack, that combination and technique sound really great. I want a raspy, articulate, growly sound and these strings deliver. One tip, do wind the strings on slowly; occasionally they snap if wound on too quickly, and if they do, just contact DR customer support and they’ll ship you a free replacement string ASAP.

Las que usaba antes eran de la misma marca y cuestan 4 veces lo que estas, y no le piden nada. Excelentes.
