I purchased this harmonica because of the good reviews. I thought I would get a quality instrument for 60% of the cost of a Hohner. It’s an OK instrument. Out of the box I had to work really hard to get a draw on the 3rd hole. I purchased a Hohner and it works as it should. I am keeping the Hohner.

I’ve been playing harmonica for many years. I’ve played Hohner diatonics, Lee Oscar, Suzuki and others. You can’t beat the quality of this harmonica for the price. If you can play well enough this harp will serve it’s purpose. Harmonicas have become ridiculously expensive. This one has a nice tone, looks good and feels good. Money well spent.

I had to return the first one I bought as the 1, 2, and 3 draw reeds did not play but I replaced it with another because I like the sound. I even got another in the key of F.
The black cover looks great and makes it easy to see so you know which side is up. I have several harps and I hate it when I start to blow and the thing is upside down.
I find the plastic combs easier on the mouth and tounge than the wood like my Blues Harps and Marine Bands.
The sound is almost as good as my Oskar Lee’s but cost less than half as much.
I like the cloth case with the strap on the back better than a paper or plastic box that others use. You can wear it on your belt and be ready all the time to entertain.
Bends and overblows are above average on these harps, but only.
The best inexpensive harp one can find, in my opinion.

I played Hohner Blues until I tried these. They’re more responsive, louder and softer,. They whine & bend effortlessly. I do a lot of recording & I compared them a lot, and the Easttop 008K always sounds much much better.

Until now, I have used Hohner, Suzuki, and Lee Oskar harmonicas. When it was time to replace a Lee Oskar, I bought this East Top as an experiment. It was much less expensive, so my expectations were not high.
I was pleasantly surprised! I’m very happy with the way it feels and sounds. Time will tell how it holds up, but I’m expecting to buy more East Top harmonicas in the future.

This harmonica (key of A) looks real nice and every note works properly. It seems like good quality materials and construction, not a cheap toy. The case that it comes with is decent too. I’m not qualified to compare it with other and more expensive brands but I’m happy with my purchase.
