I found these impossible to install!
There were no instructions about turning the sleeve inside out to slide it on, as described by one reviewer, so I tried what was described in that review and it would not turn back from completely inside out on the paddle shaft.
There is just not enough flex in the narrow tubing. In the process, the inside rubber lining started to shred and crumble. (See photo of inside-out tube with shredding rubber.) There is not enough stretch to get these over my standard diameter Aqua-Bound paddles.
They were a complete waste of money and I am returning them. I regret this purchase and do not recommend these!

Because of the rubber inside they do not slide onto my paddle so i learned to roll them down the paddle to where i wanted and then unroll them. They stay in place and do not slip around like others i have had. These are comfortable for a full day of paddling. Im sure these will see 1,000 miles of paddling over the next few months.

These oar grips are snug to put on and the little grips on the underside that keep it from sliding off – also make it hard to slide on. They recommend folding back a third to put it on, but I gave up and sprayed some cooking oil on the paddle to get it on. Once in place they add a lot of comfort and help prevent blisters. The stitching is a little shaky at points, but it was only evident when trying to pull it into place.

I’m so glad I purchased these for my kayak paddles. They slipped on easily and they make a difference with the grip. No more blisters, no more sore hands……smooth grip.

These are made from foam and material in order to slip it over the kayak paddle arms get it wet first it goes on better once they are on the paddles you can move them, but you have to wet them first once it dries they stay in place. they are very comfortable for my hands and I no longer get blisters. I recommend this to anyone who does kayaking.

I purchased 2 sets of these. I wet the paddle, added a tiny bit of dish soap and slid them on – perfect.
I did have to adjust 1 of the pads while I was out on the lake, this proved taxing, but once I dribbled some lake water on the inside and outside of the pad I managed to slide pad into a better position.
They are comfortable and do not slide or slip.
Great quality and value for money. Would recommend and purchase again.
