The game requires a 27 GB download post installation on my Xbox one which can be easily skipped and is not needed if you are not into multiplayer. Just turn off your internet before playing the game and you will be fine. No need to download 27GB which is a very heavy download at least as per Indian standards. I have played the game for just an hour. Graphics look top-notch. Gameplay feels solid. Wall-run and double-jump features are an impressive addition to your maneuvering ability.

I just got this game for my boys and they cannot stop playing it. I bought the basic version because of its age. I did not think it would look good or play well, but I was sooooo wrong. I almost never leave reviews but this game is just stunning. It plays smooth, it still has plenty of other people playing on line too, and it is beautiful to play and watch. Why the company has not made a part III is just stupid. I just went back and bought the original Titan Fall because we want to know how things all started. If you have not bought this game and you like shooting and blowing things up and driving giant robots then get this game. It is one of the best games we have ever purchased. I cannot believe how old this game is, to me it looks like a newly released game. Game on my brothers, game on.

Titanfall 2 is easily the best game I’ve played this year. The movement is fast paced, “easy to learn, hard to master”, and feels incredibly satisfying.

The campaign, while short, was full of action (and is good for getting a feel for the game prior to going online) and overall came off as a good investment of my time.

The multiplayer however, while fun, is going to be hard to get into for one simple reason. This is a three year old game, and the only people that play it are skilled vets and newbies. And in my experience, the former vastly outnumber the latter. If you aren’t taking full advantage of the movement, or just running like this is the latest COD, you’ll be dead fast.

Now, the Titans. They’re cool, but after a while, the novelty starts to wear off. It -does- add spice to the game, but eventually it just becomes another part of the game, nothing more. And don’t bother setting your titan to autopilot, it’ll be shredded by other players without the AI upgrade, and all that does is take away a skill slot that you could be using to shred other titans faster manually.

tl;dr, fast-paced fun FPS with satisfying, rewarding movement, a solid campaign, and multiplayer that’s difficult to get into at this point, but fun none the less. I recommend it.

Arrived quickly and in mint condition. Never played the 1st Titanfall but I can say Titanfall 2 is a Banging game. Great graphics and gameplay. Runs smooth as silk on the Xbox series X. Top notch.

    Ampliamente recomendado.

I was a major fan of the first Titanfall a few years back and was really pumped to finally get around to picking up the sequel – esp at such a cheap price (at $9.99 it’s a no brainer to pick up). How this game is not a major franchise like CoD, MoH, Halo is beyond me. The game is insanely fun and is a AAA title, without a doubt with stellar production value. The controls and gameplay feel much more refined this time around and everything flows so fast and smooth. The graphics are top notch and it runs smoothly even in the chaotic open work battles. All those qualities aforementioned are great, but best of all – the game is just downright fun to play.

The single player campaign, although short, is a lot of fun and was a nice addition that the first game missed. However, the multiplayer is where it is at. Matchmaking is a breeze and never takes long to get into the action. Servers are strong and steady and I have yet to be dropped from a game. Lots of different game modes to boot with lots of variety. The unlockables as you level might need a bit of work, as it does get a bit repetitive playing to unlock nothing but slight color hue changes on the same skin pattern for weapons, pilots, and mechs. All the very unique skins can only be acquired though micro-transactions, which I am not a fan of. Overwatch did it right with such great variety in player skins for each archtype, that you can unlock, or purchase if you so chose- would like to see something like that in a 3rd version.

Overall, the game is a ton of fun to play and easy to get into. I’ve logged many an hour into it and still having a great time.

Titanfall 2 is the only FPS you need to play this year. The Coke and Pepsi of the genre (COD and BF) have weakly attempted to imitate what Titanfall 1 brought to the table – most notably with double jumping and wall running – but Titanfall 2 has returned to show them how it’s done.

I haven’t yet played the single player campaign but have heard only praise (excepting its short length). The multiplayer, however, offers a refined version of the experience that kept me coming back to the first game. Most matches begin much like any FPS, albeit with smooth acrobatic abilities playing a prominent role. Once players have earned Titans, however, the game truly shines. Battles become frenetic and fast-paced, but the controls are so smooth that within a day anyone with FPS experience will develop the skills necessary to keep up. Loadouts and Titans are well-balanced, offering greater variety than the first game.

Someone used to the larger franchises may be taken aback by some of Titanfall’s quirks, like the high number of NPC fighters in most modes and, obviously, the giant robots that dominate the battlefield. But get used to it (which is surprisingly easy with how fun it is) and you’ll discover a game that rewards players who think.

As a side note, I felt compelled to write this review given the relatively low expectations and hype surrounding this game. Titanfall 2 did itself no favors by being released right in the middle of several other AAA titles, including the aforementioned duopoly over the genre. I’m not generally a fan of modern multiplayer FPS games – they feel too much like frustrating jobs with little payoff. Titanfall is different. It’s a fascinating, deep and, above all, fun game that I hope will get the credit it deserves.
