This is perfect and needed if you have your printer in the basement or garage and the temperature fluctuates. Easy to use and install. Great for the price and performed amazing despite its size.

I ordered this mini heater for my Saturn 2 to keep it more stabilized in the winter. I am very impressed at the Double built-in filter and heater. This is an easy foolproof way of making sure that your prints will fail less especially due to temperature fluctuations. The noise level was perfectly acceptable and it functions just fine. The build quality is exactly what you anticipate from an eligible product which is excellent. This maintains a high value as it will keep you in production longer

This is not my first Elegoo product (have one of their larger format resin printers too!), and overall I’m very happy with their products. This device does exactly what it sets out to do, which is to keep your resin chamber consistently warm. I feel there are a few places where they might have been better served making some modifications for a wider utility here. Definitely some missed opportunities.

The intake being on the bottom only makes sense when this is used with the bracket. It’s meant to intake fumes directly from off the resin vat (thus the intake on the bottom). If you happen to have a ‘ready to go mount’, this works great. For the rest of us (this IS advertised as being compatible with ‘most printers’), it means modifications or ‘funky positions’ which might not be possible pending the chamber size. It seems like perhaps some side intakes (moving the fan inwards into the device more), may have made more universal sense. This is probably my largest complaint.

There is no amount of tuning you can do to the temperature. It’s a fixed value. Seems like allowing for a plus/minus of five or ten degrees would have been nice.

The noise is negligable, no complaints here for where it’s going to be!

The power brick is obnoxiously large. Rated to supply 120W.

The carbon filters are OK. Something this small is only going to do so much, so keep your expectations in check here. It’s not going to be your air filtration nirvana, but it will help a small amount to keep VOC’s down a touch and the smell a touch more than that.

The build quality seems solid (as I have experienced with most Elegoo products), and I expect this’ll net you some years of service life.

    Reasonable value for the quality.

Due to the typical smell and health and ventilation concerns with resin printers, I typically leave mine in a separate room in my basement and have been planning to move them out into my garage to be even safer. Unfortunately, neither my basement nor my garage maintain temperatures that are exactly suitable for use with resin printers during the winter, and this little gizmo is going to solve that problem nicely. While neither of my printers are actually made by Elegoo, the mounting on this device is very simple and it should easily be adapted to work on almost any resin printer just by cutting a small opening in the plastic cover and drilling a couple of holes to hold the bracket in place. I was actually surprised by how small this is, relatively speaking, as it has no trouble fitting inside even my Phrozen Mini, which is fairly small printer. I also really like that they opted for the external power supply unit rather than trying to make it battery powered, as that has always been an issue for the small air purifiers I typically run inside my resin printers. This means that this device will both maintain the temperature under the printer hoods AND filter the air and replace my separate little purifiers. This is a definite win win.

That being said, there are a couple of minor issues I have with this device. First off, while it came with one filter installed and two spares, I haven’t been able to locate additional replacement filters either on Amazon or their own website. Fortunately, the filter housing can be taken apart fairly easily and the internal activated charcoal can be replaced, though unfortunately it is smaller in size than most of the commonly available generic replacement filters like those that I use on my battery powered purifiers. However, with a bit of whittling, you can make them fit. So, while it may not be pretty, you should be able to at least cobble together functional replacement filters, though I would still like to see pre-packaged ones become more readily available.

My only other complaint is that this device has one fixed temperature and that is it. It really needs to have at least some adjustment range, even if it is only +/- 10C. I have some resins that specifically recommend ambient enclosure temperatures over 30C, so even a little adjustment capability would be a major improvement. Additionally, with just smidge more work and range, if they could get this to work up to 50C, it would be absolutely perfect as an enclosure heater to use with my FDM printers for printing ABS and ASA — and having a powered filter there is almost a necessity too (and would eliminate me having to print and build Bento box filters for them).

So, overall this is a great product and I likely will be ordering more to mount on all my resin printers, but it is still not quite perfect and I REALLY hope they come out with a higher temp version for FDM printers.

If you’re looking at this product, you already know that it is something you need for your hobby. If you don’t know what this does, I highly advise that you do research and evaluate your needs for this product.

This is an effective heater for your printer’s resin tank, but be advised that it will not fit most of the smaller printers that are commonplace in the hobby.

Check your printer’s dimensions to avoid mechanical interference.

    Beyond that, recommended!

Used this to heat my chamber as I was having some warping issues (I am in a basement where it is consistently colder than anywhere else).

This definitely changed the outcomes for me as I was having more clean prints than not. It slotted in easily to the back of the printers “dome” housing, and just simply plugged in.

As with all things Elegoo, it is well made, heat up quickly and dispersed the heat effectively in the printer without delay.

I haven’t gotten to try this in colder conditions yet as it’s still summer here, but hopefully it will help improve my prints when it gets colder. I use this with an Elegoo Saturn S printer that actually comes with a builtin filter that looks very similar to this, but is smaller and plugs right into the machine. It’s a tight fit to put this on the other side of the arm since it’s quite large. A little noisy but its in a room away from my living room (unheated bathroom on outside wall).

This heater worked well for less than a week. After that it wouldn’t stay on. I could get it to run as long as I was holding the power button, but as soon as I released it, it would stop running.

I’m sending it back for a return, but since I bought it on sale a new one will cost more than what I originally spent on it, so I’ll probably look into other options.

The heater is built of plastic, includes 1 preinstalled and 2 spare filters. It has a simple locking momentary switch for power.

It takes 1 minute before you start feeling any heat, and it sounds about as loud as a warm laptop when operating

It maintains a 25C temperature with no way to adjust it. Would’ve been nice to have a temperature tuning option to also use with FDM printers or if warmer temperatures are needed. For $70 im not sure its really worth it over another form of heating or getting a printer with heating bed, and I’d only find use in it for winter seasons. Works as advertised though
