I sent an email to the seller MWB before my purchase, to check if there will be a checking before dispatch.
The people from MWB kindly replied my questions and I received a guitar in very good condition.
Although you do not expect the quality control level of Epi as good as e.g. a yamaha red label, the tone is definitely worth the price.
Someone loose the strings for me before delievery, which is professional.
The sixth string action at fret 12th is 2.78 mm, which is standard as it should be from the factory. You might want to slightly adjust the truss rod depending on the temperature and humidity of your area.

I always wanted a hummingbird guitar,
But the Gibson was out of my price range,
I was a bit dubious about buying a epiphone,
Especially one made in China, but to my surprise when the guitar come, it is a beautifully made guitar, sounds great and looks great, I’m so glad I bought it.

My wife has been saving all summer to buy this hummingbird. She finally had the money saved and we ordered it on Friday, it arrived on Wednesday. Only problem is there was a hole in the box. My heart sunk. The guitar was in a box within the lager out box. That box also had o hole punched in it. We opened the box to see if the guitar was damaged and sure enough there was a crack in the top of the guitar near the strap peg/cable plug in. It’s not very noticeable but it is a crack in the wood. It can only get worse. So we are having to send it back. Cannot order another until we get refund. Hopefully Fed X will do a better job shipping the next one. There was not a single marking on the box that said fragile. This I blame on the sellers, over all though it is a beautiful guitar. Heavier than my Martin which is not a bad thing. After taxes it was about $950. I’d say a fair price for such an ornate guitar. I highly recommend this Epiphone guitar. Screw Fed X

The fret ends are badly finished or not finished. They catch as you play.
This is the worst fret finish I’ve ever had on a guitar. For the price I expected much better quality control.
I contacted the seller, JJ MUSIC directly and have not been given any comment back from them.
I ended up finishing the fret ends myself. It takes time and most people don’t have the tools or knowledge to do it.
In every other regard I do like this guitar. It sounds amazing, is well constructed otherwise.
I’m really dissatisfied with the retailer’s, JJ MUSIC, lack of response and attention to my complaint.

**Don’t listen to these, “It’s fake!” reviews. Although it is not a “Masterbilt” it is built in the same vein with all solid woods and high quality material and tolerances. It is technically the “Inspired by Gibson” line.**

I was worried about buying a guitar online but the Inspired by Gibson Hummingbird is hard to find in my area so I bit the bullet.

It arrived within the promised shipping window and in good condition. It’s a beautiful guitar and it sounds amazing!

My only problem was some major fret buzz out of the box which is understandable since it is in a completely different environment than where it was setup. After loosening the truss rod a 1/2 turn the fret buzz was solved.

Highly recommend this guitar to anyone interested in a high-quality hummingbird for a fraction of the price of Gibson!

Ordered with a case for protection during shipping. Had the guitar out of the case in 5 mins excitement was building.
All the strings were loose as expected, however as i tuned it sadly they were all fretting out and wouldn’t stay in tune. Tried again and same result. Ive had a number of guitars over the years. Ill never buy a guitar online again. No one ever took the time to try out it let alone quicklyset it up. Biggest dissapointment, i knew i was had when guitar craftor cant be reached by phone thru web site or through amazon. My guess im not the first person to try to reach them sadly. Im used to professional instrument suppliers who make sure your happy verses hide from responsibility.
