I’ve been through 3+ Keurig’s, all only lasting a few years, so when my last one stopped working, I decided I was going to look for something different. This little coffee maker has been great and for a fraction of the price of the name brand. I’ve been using it daily since February and haven’t had any issues. It’s easy to clean and works well! I do feel like it takes a few minutes longer to make a cup of coffee but that doesn’t bother me. I also only drink1-2 cups of coffee a day, so the single serving reservoir doesn’t bother me, but I can see where that would be an inconvenience for some. I love that is takes up little to no counter space.

I really liked the design of this coffee maker. And for the first two months, it worked well. However, after the second month the water reservoir didn’t always empty completely into the cup on the first try. I had to push the brew button two or three times to get it to completely empty out. I’m guessing that there was a problem with the heating element.
I complained to customer service (per the enclosed card and through Amazon) and they replied within 24-48 hours. After a few emails (I sent them pictures of the problem) they responded by refunding my money completely and promptly back on my Amazon card. Since I was outside of the 1 month return window, I was delighted! I noticed that many people didn’t have the problem that I experienced, however it was nice to know that they owned up to it and offered me a refund or an exchange for a new model. I opted for the refund. Thus I’m giving them 4 stars because when the unit was working I was pleased, and when it wasn’t they responded promptly by taking full responsibility for the problem.

This coffee maker may be cheaper or smaller but it works a lot better for me. The cabinets where the machine is are very low. We need to slide it out a few inches to brew but it’s easy and light and it slides right back in its place. Another reason why we avoided one with the reservoir is because we have well water and when it sits it clogs pretty fast. I love that there is a descaling warning button too! Also a good add on for having well water.

This is a great little coffee maker since I only can have one cup of coffee or a glass of iced coffee per day. I use the basket for ground coffee since ground is more economical. My only gripe is that the hinge is so flimsy on the basket, that even with care, it broke and the top separated from the basket the third day I washed it. This is not a deal breaker, but don’t be surprised if this happens. It is a lightweight unit that is easy to store if you do not want it out on the counter constantly. It is also easy to keep clean.

Look, it has a small footprint, which is why I opted for this unit. If you have a strict budget, sure. If you have time to save money and step it up a notch, wait and save. Or wait until some Amazon day.
Reusable screen: When I got it I was surprised at the size of the grain screen. It’s huge. Look at the pic. I like my coffee strong but don’t use even half as much as the max level is. The grains go up the entire side of the filter and that leads me to believe the water is filtering too fast. However, it does make a good cup of coffee.
Drip Tray: yes, it drips a bit once done but the tray serves it’s purpose if you take the cup away. Just lift the sliver tray, rise both, wash and done. Easy.
Water reservoir: it’s a bit awkward to pour water in and is next to impossible to not spill some. Not enough for me to be concerned with it. The trick is to pull out the maker a bit and pour from the side. Not from fron to back. I’ve had it 5 weeks. It is used 2x a day.
Ice Coffee: I haven’t used it. But I used my meat thermometer and the ice coffee water pours at about 160ish and the regular coffee is 180ish. I just prefer to make a batch of coffee in my big pot and pour into pitcher so have.
Lid to screen: This broke today and it bummed me out. It’s not a big deal. I just lineup the bend parts and it pours fine.
Final: I will be saving for a better unit. I had a Keurig K-Mini Single Serve. And it was awesome. Sure, I had to buy the reusable filter but it was great. It’s one of those you get what you pay for. Like just get the Vitamix not the Ninja, even if you have to wait to save the extra money. I was being cheap. So, I’m saving for a new one of those.

Mom of two active boys. Coffee has been a new thing for me so a cup a day is perfect for me and this machine is perfect!!!! I love that it does hot or cold coffee and ground or kcups.
