I own Fender Malmsteen strat, so I needed these to match the original set were on my guitar,
I’ve never played better than this, Sound is excellent, but I found out there’s corrosion very early after
installing it (maybe after like 3-4 days only).

    Pros:
    – Good price
    – Very high quality
    – Sound is very nice
    Cons:
    – I had to remove my plastic cover(strat guitar) to fit the bullet through the hole.

    A must have for everyone!

Update: Initially I rated these fewer stars, partially because of the sound, but mostly because of the damaged strings. I contacted Fender customer service. I expected the usual hassle. My expectations were not met. Fender was great to work with. Their customer service was superlative. They not only replaced the bad product, they gave me extra replacements of more than the damaged strings. This I’m not used to. I’m used to lots of hemming and hawing and excuse making & if you’re lucky getting a replacement part or item. Fender didn’t do that. They provided replacements, plus extras, quickly without hassle. I’d like to chalk it up to my extraordinary charm, but I think it was mostly Fender’s dedication to their customers.

I also brought up the issue with the packing I mention below. I still don’t like the packaging, but maybe someone at Fender will listen. I sure hope so, because in today’s declining guitar market it would be a loss of a national treasure like the iconic Fender. Britain makes the amps, the U.S. makes the guitars.

The bullet ends are nice. Go great with my Fender Stratocaster with the factory whammy. HOWEVER.

    1) Some of the would strings were damaged. Flattened at certain random spots. I’ve never seen that and I’ve been buying would strings for decades. I’m not sure how manufacturing could mess that up, unless the machine that makes the string just mangles some randomly all on its own.
    2) Get dirty quickly. I’m not sure what different manufacturers do, by D’Addario’s stay clean much longer.
    3) WAY to BRIGHT. HARSH. Good for super distorted over-pre-amped metal guitar music. Not so great for not over-pre-amped metal guitar music.
    4) The color coding is strange. 2 strings are wound together and there’s no color code on the packaging. You just gotta know 1 & 4, 2 & 5, 3 & 6. Them are the pairs. If your 1 & 2 are close, and you can’t figure out the difference in diameter, I guess the difference just doesn’t matter much, does it?

Like the bullets. Like the name brand. Don’t like the strings so much.

P.S. Working with Fender to figure out what’s up with the crushed strings. Stay tuned. (pun intended)

Es sind 6 Saiten für eine E-Gitarre, keine Bassgitarrensaiten. Aber gute Qualität

The Silver Bullets have been around forever for a reason: They’re great strings for Fender guitars, and the Silver Bullet ends are neat.

I’ve been using these Super Bullets strings for years on my Stratocaster. They’re unmatched when it comes to durability, sound, and tuning stability. Strat players get a bonus in the form of the bullet-shaped string-ends (the namesake of the strings themselves), which fit snug into the string chambers in the tremolo block. With the normal-style ball-end strings, removing old strings was a hassle because the ball-end would often get stuck inside the string chambers, requiring me to push them out with a toothpick or something. This is a thing of the past with the Super Bullets, which fall out with ease so you can get those strings changed quickly and get back to playing ASAP.

Another bonus is for those who like to use the tremolo arm in their playing. Other strings work sometimes, but can go out of tune easier than the Bullets will. The shape of the bullet-ends allows the strings to return to their original position whilst using the trem arm every time, unlike other strings which may or may not do so, affecting your tuning stability in detrimental ways.

They’re great strings really, not much else to say, buy ’em!

Bullets are made for you Stratocaster, they give you better tuning stability, don’t dig into the metal like ball ends do

It was designed unnecessarily complicated to find the right string. For an unknown reason there is no labeling or color coding per single string, instead they came up with the idea to put every 2 strings into 1 envelope. Problem is; they decided to put string numbers 1&4, 2&5, 3&6 into same envelopes. So every time you open an envelope there is one thin and one thick string. So when you’re changing them one by one, it’s easily becaming a confusion and you find yourself trying to identify the right string by looking it with the naked eye. There’s literally no other way. WHYYYY???
