I bought this when my child was 1 years old but they really didn’t start playing with it until they were two. He loves it now and plays with it a lot. The only downfall is the string holding the stick is short so it can’t hit every note easily.

My kids had similar xylophones when they were little and I wanted to get a couple of these for expected babies in the family for when they are a little older, while these are available from Fisher-Price and at a good price. The xylophone has an octave of real musical notes and kids can learn to play actual tunes as they get older, or they can just enjoy the colors, pulling the toy, and playing random notes when they are younger, and count the bars a little later. The plastic stick/mallet is attached will a short cord so it is safe. it appears sturdy as most Fisher-Price toys are
This is a toddler toy that remains useful as the child grows, and almost all kids like to play with a xylophone. This one isn’t too loud. I haven’t opened the packaging completely so I don’t know if a simple set of tunes is included or not, but hopefully it is as in the past. The product info does not mention one, though, so maybe not.
One tune I still recall from decades ago goes (numbered from lowest to highest notes):
1-2-3-1, 1-2-3-1, 3-4-5, 3-4-5. 5-6-5-4-3-1, 5-6-5-4-3-1, 8-5-8, 8-5-8. LOL. You’ll recognize it.

A good xylophone with a pleasant sound. The only drawback is a short rope

Cute little xylophone. Made out of plastic and metal bars. I made a little video so you can see the quality of the toy. It’s durable. It has been dropped already and has not broke. It’s makes a great gift. The packaging was nice and would be easy to wrap. Again, it’s sturdy and had little wheels. The string is short. No worries about the little one wrapping it around them. It comes with a little song for them to learn. Also, I’m sure you can goggle little songs too. My little one plays for a little bit and then moves on. It’s not a toy for them to play for hours. It’s a short term toy. They bang it out and move on. It’s nice that it’s not too loud. I recommend buying.

Looked at others. Others had small parts and parts not attached well. This one is sturdy, attached tool for playing tunes. Can’t go wrong with fisher price.

This is one of the most traditional toys that still entertain babies and toddlers in 2021. Itโs also very inexpensive and doesnโt require batteries. My grandson is a year old and his face lights up every time he bangs on this. The string that attaches the stick is a catch 22. Itโs great because you donโt have to worry about losing the stick. However, itโs a little short and makes some of the notes hard to play. But I get if it were too much longer it could possibly be a choking hazard and it could rap around a babies neck. Also, he bangs on this with anything (and I mean anything) he can find and it works so you donโt necessarily have to use the stick. It also has wheels on it so sometimes he just slides it across the room. I would absolutely recommend everyone getting their baby one of these. Itโs fun and educational, super inexpensive, and very practical. This is honestly one of his favorite toys and he has so many that do so much more Lighting up in craziness. But there is something to be said about the simplicity of this toy.

I bought this for my baby to play too.
So cute and sound is great! Once older sheโll enjoy it too. String is short but can reach all the notes.

Overall classic, colorful, educational, great quality sturdy toy. Just like one I had when I was a baby. Nice bright and colorful (not sad baby beige). Good size, sounds perfect, my son has fun learning to hit it and the different sounds it makes, heโs only 9 months so heโs working on it but even just watching us use it heโs learning.

Trรจs jolie jouet. Les roues fonctionnent trรจs bien, le son est trรจs bon, le jouet est de trรจs bonne qualitรฉ; il fait voiture et xylophone, que demander de plus… si je sais que bรฉbรฉ arrรชte de nous casser les tympans.

O xilofone รฉ perfeito. As notas sรฃo todas afinadas e hรก uma escala completa (Dรณ a dรณ). Recomendo demais.

I bought it for my baby and she loves it!!! She loved the colors and enjoys the music it makes given she loves any toy with sound and or lights I think I made great purchase! Sheโs still a little young but I know the older she gets sheโll enjoy it even more

I was on the hunt for a toy that could entertain my little and create sound. Other Xylophones usually came with loose sticks, which can definitely be a hazard for little children. I like how the stick on this toy is secure and durable. The stick is on A string so you donโt have to worry about losing it. The only thing is the string is somewhat short, so the baby may have to get accustomed to holding it a certain way to play the instrument. Otherwise, this toy has been great and has actually entertained adults too. We joke sometimes and try to play songs And the quality of the sound is pretty spot on. Great to gift as well.
