The chair is beautiful to look at, and if you are petite (I’m 5’3) it’s the perfect height at almost it’s lowest setting so it would still be good if you’re a little taller. Your legs are at a good 90 degree angle and the waterfall seat allows circulation behind the knees. I tend to sit cross-legged often and the arms don’t get in the way. The seat is firm but comfortable and I like that the arms are padded and can be lifted up to tuck under my desk. They are the perfect height for me leaving my elbows bent at a 90ยฐ angle. The arms are little too far apart from the body though but that’s not a deal breaker for me. The lumbar support is not adjustable but hits me at the perfect spot.
The reason for the lower rating is because of the price. Like another reviewer, my chair came with the underside of the wheel housing rusty-looking (even though the material is not metal) and it was impossible to get the stains out (maybe I got that chair that they returned). I got an amazon warehouse deal so for what I paid, I decided to keep it as the staining is on the underside of the legs and not visible. The rest of the chair looks great and in great condition. The wheels turn smoothly and it has a good amount of lean back.
At $300 though, I would be upset about the staining. I would still give this chair a shot, just look out for the staining and return it if it’s there. Otherwise, it’s worth it.

Hi,
I am here to review this chair. I bought it during COVID-19 because I need to work from home now. I am unbiased, no-one has paid me to do this, and I consider myself a generally reasonable human being.
This chair cost me roughly $135. It’s a chair. I am very happy with it. Putting it together was about as easy as putting together a chair could be, it took me about 15-20 minutes. The instructions consist of 6 steps, read all of them before starting because that’s always how you should read instructions (life advice, you’re welcome)
After constructing this chair, I sat in it, as I planned from the beginning. It feels like a very functional chair. I like that you can lean with it, and rock with it. You can adjust height. I specifically wanted something with arms that folded up, this one has arms that do that. If you are super boujee and the type who requires some ridiculous material and comfort padding, don’t buy this, but also nothing will make you happy so maybe you should buy it and just be unhappy. If you’re normal and you want a quality computer chair with adequate levels of comfort, folding arms, adjustable height and rocking abilities plus good lumbar support (hopefully most people) buy this chair. It’s great. Seriously.
I see people nitpicking. This is a $130 computer chair. The material is fine. The comfort does the job. I am beyond happy with this chair and would absolutely recommend it to someone who wants an affordable and functional computer/office chair. If you’re a picky scrooge nothing, in all reality, will make you happy – so good luck. I love this chair. Checks all of my boxes. Cheers!
PS: Check the date of my review, if I never come back and re-review, its because this chair continued to be a chair and I maintained a high level of happiness with its functionality. I will only ever return to this review if something goes terribly wrong/upsets me that is at the legitimate fault of the chair. Cheers!

I had no trouble putting this chair together in about 25 mins – and solo. So far the squeak mentioned in the reviews hasnโt happened. I did take the advice of another reviewer and upgrade to the rollerblade wheels right away to save my carpet. Iโm super happy with the results. Good value for the price.

Chair took 10 minutes to put together. Super comfortable. Great back support. I spent over an hour going through trusted websites and โbest office/gaming chairs 2024โ but it seems their idea of a โbudget chairโ is now $200. I had a $400 Secret Labs Titan for a few years and it was pretty nice before the arm rests started to deteriorate. Also, really don’t want to spend $400 or even $200 on another chair right now. I looked through probably 50 chairs on amazon before finding this one, putting it in my cart along with 2 others, and then continued looking through another 20-30. Then carefully looked through reviews one more time and decided on this one. Very happy I did. This chair is sturdy, comfortable, rolls smoothly, and has good support. The screws even come with red loctite. Iโll end up spending a lot of free time playing games and watching youtube in this chair and I look forward to it. Very happy with this chair. 5โ10โ, 200 lbs, perfect size for me.

This is my sewing chair and I love that the arms can be pushed up and back out of the way. It’s comfortable for sitting and easy to get in and out of, except I have to be careful it doesn’t roll away when I sit. It’s probably not the best idea to have rollers on a sewing chair but I like it and just have to careful.

Nothing fancy but a well made chair for this price point. Assembly took about 10 minutes, simple and painless. Iโm a larger guy at 6โ3 and am very comfortable in this chair. Iโm very conscious of my posture and this chair allows me to both be comfortable and sit with good form

I spent a lot of time looking at office chairs. I mean, A LOT of time.
I started with a blank canvas and wanted to see what would be better than the $50 chair I was currently sitting it. It looks fine and has some padding, but really isn’t good for sitting 4-6 hours straight in.
RESEARCH
So, do you go with the “luxury” high end chairs? What can you get for under $300? Under $200?
– In the end I decided that I really didn’t need all of the features of the top-end ergonomic chairs (synchro-tilt, 3-way adjustable arm rests, adjustable lumber support, premium headrest, premium materials) ($800-2500 chairs) – think Aeron, Steelcase, etc.
– I also decided I didn’t want to spend $300-800 for one of the luxury ergonomic “wannabes” that LOOK like the high-end chairs and offer similar functionality, but with lower quality materials and build (and durability). This range also included used high end chairs like the Steelcase 2 because shopping for them on eBay could be hit and miss (though many discussion groups I saw loved this option).
– I finally decided that for 4-6 hours a day, 3-days a week, I just wanted a chair that was comfortable on my bottom, was height-adjustable, had some tilt / tension control, and had arm rests that could flip out. My chairs tend to do double-duty as extra dining room chairs and the foldable arm rests are critical for that. The price range for these chairs were in the $80-180 range, and I looked at about a dozen different ones on Amazon that had decent reviews (and a lot of them). This was my “Goldilocks” range for a chair – not too expensive, not dirt cheap, “just right”.
I ended up ordering the blue fabric on black chair because I liked the look (about $125). The white chairs with fabric seem really popular (blue/white was $180!). After I ordered, the black leather seat chair was only $90. This seems like a really good deal.
Anyway, the chair arrived today and here is my detailed review (so far):
PACKAGING & ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
I have included pictures of everything that came out of the 33 lb. package. I like the fact that all of the small parts (screws, washers, caps) were packaged together with a code (A, B, C, D etc.) The instructions referenced the parts code, so it was easy to follow the instructions to assemble the chair. I was very meticulous, and it took me about 40 minutes by myself. Parts of the instructions were vague about what and when the screws should be fully tightened and what they mean by “be sure the cylinder column cap has been taken off” (there was no cap as far as I could tell). I did see a few reviews where people complained about the assembly because they had some physical limitations. Good God, man, if it’s that bad, go buy a chair at Home Depot and pay them $15 to assemble it for you!
In this day and age though, a 3-minute video helps immensely if they had done one, but I suppose you then have to do it in multiple language. In any case, I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars.
FIT, FUNCTION, APPEARANCE and COMFORT
I would say (as other reviews have stated) this chair LOOKS really nice. The blue adds some color to my office, and the chair has a modern look – something more than the $125 I paid for it. The height adjustment works fine, as does the recline function and tension, though here, a short video on how to use it would have helped. The seat and back rest are very comfortable, but there is no separate lumbar support cushion – just the curve in the lower back for that. If you really crave lumbar support and functions, look elsewhere. The chair also glides very smoothly compared to my old one. But that’s because dirt and dog hair haven’t fouled up the wheels yet. Alls this is good for 4 out of 5 stars.
LONG-RANGE PLANS
So, for now, I think this is a keeper unless something drastic happens with the chair in the next couple of weeks. I think I will get black rubber or polyurethane caster wheels to protect my hardwood floors though. Check the date of this review – 6/3/2024. If anything major changes, I will update the review. Otherwise, assume that the chair is still doing great. I hope I get 5-6 good years out of it at least. Would be ecstatic with that.
