I have been searching high and low for a forward facing bookcase for my daughter, especially one that holds ALL of her books and has shelves for nightlights, water bottles, etc. The pieces were packed well, no scratches, and instructions were easy to follow. I put it together by myself and it did take 2-3 hours! The only item missing were the screw hole covers.

All the pieces came in in good shape. Directions were very easy to follow. Took me about two hours to build it alone. Seems very sturdy and holds a lot. I was impressed with the space in the pull out drawers (which are on wheels, I wasn’t expecting that) and I could probably double the amount of books in the book shelves, they’re pretty spacious too. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase. I was able to declutter two areas of my home with this purchase.

I never rate items but this item is fantastic! Very sturdy and easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours. The instructions are easy to follow. The company gives spare parts! The size is perfect for my daughters bedroom definitely larger than most bookshelves for the cost! We love it!!

The item itself is exactly what it is pictured. it is very sturdy! and the instructions for assembly was flawless! it was very clear and I didn’t make any mistakes while assembling it. (typically I make some mistakes and have to go back and redo it.) but the directions were super clear (though it could have used some words in the directions but it was all pictures, which is fine since I am definitely a visual learner) There were many parts to assemble and it took about a couple of hours however the result was worth it! Also all the pre-drilled holes fit like a glove and the manufacturer really thought through the details, for example they even put spacers to drill onto the backside of the backboard so that it would push the backboard forward against the shelves so that when you put books on shelves, it won’t push the backboard and bow out (I’ve never seen this in some the other similar shelves that I’ve put together). It was very well made in my opinion as far as these flatpack furniture goes. But my hand was shot afterward from all the screws I had to put in, there were definitely two blisters (probably would have been better if I had used a power drill for some of the screws).
It is exactly what we needed to get the book situation under control in our house. I am extremely happy with the result, definitely worth the money and it looks great!

This bookshelf is made of “engineered wood” (particle board), but seems to be of much higher quality than old particle board standards. I couldn’t believe how heavy the box was considering how small it was, when it arrived. It is definitely a 2-person job to move it into the room you want. Building directions are clear and there are plenty of extra fasteners, but be warned that there are SO MANY PIECES to put together. I painted several of the pieces before building it up, to give it some more flair… It was a fun jigsaw puzzle project, and the final product looks wonderful!

I love all the different storage options. It’s great that the bottom drawers are on wheels and can also hide the unwanted view of toys. I love the my daughter can have her favorite books on display and is able to pick out herself. The price is in line with the quality. The storage shelves are very sturdy and we have had no fears of tipping. Overall it was easy to assemble but 2 people may be needed for certain parts in assembly.
